I think he is probably really disappointed and regrets the decision to switch teams for the summer. He made no extra money for the move. I think he was more valuable before this as well. He was doing pretty well on a privateer team and had people wondering how much better he would do on a factory bike. Now we know he would do about the same on a factory bike with no real impact on his results. He will likely never get the chance to ride a factory bike again here.

He can actually ride SX on a 250 fairly well. Dude was solid at SMX the last two years. Pro circuit rushed him as an injury replacement and he rode well in the heat at that race and just had a silly crash where he broke his hand. He would definitely be the best option Beta could get at this point speed wise. But again I get he's been a head case and that's what works against him. He's just so good outdoors I can't see him taking a SX only thing at Beta. Both him and Benny should be...

I hope he runs that big #1 next year. I don't care if he rolls around in 8th place. I've wanted Kenny to come back to the top ever since A2 2017. Dude earned it. We should celebrate with him.

I expected more out of McElrath from his 450 career, but I think he’s a good pick for Beta to get some top 10s. Top 10s for 2027 SX are going to be hard to come by for anyone not on a good factory team.

He and Ray Gundy and Sondra Peters used to stay at my house in Illinois when SX was in town. Sondra and the AOL chatroom Motocross is how I met him. I stayed at his place in Pittsburgh for Steel City races. All he required for working all night was potato chips and a lot of Diet Coke. He slept with an old cpap machine on scared my kids to death they thought it was Darth Vader borrowing their room.

Ken raced a Red Bull truck 3 days ovr the weekend at Crandon . I think he’ll run the #1 plate in sx . Then do what ever he wants with Red Bull sponsorship. Cool one off races maybe even a big 2-st races & vintage , etc
