Anyone else just really hoping Tomac is able to gel with whatever bike he ends up riding, and can show the speed that he had early in SX this season? It really sucks that he's getting off the YZ, as it looked like he has that thing dialed. It just seems like he still has championship talent, fitness, and drive, and it would suck if that got squandered on a bike he wasn't comfortable on.

When Tomac is in his "groove" he could win on ANY bike out there. Suzuki has proven itself relevant in 2025, and what other teams could offer him the freedom of doing whatever he wants set up wise? No BS enengy drink sponsor clash, gear deals, no harping about fork changes - and a cable clutch to boot. Who at Suzuki would tell Tomac "No" to any requests he brought to the table? Who there has told Roczen "No"?

Cone valves aren’t components to “fix” KYB or Showa forks. They’re a completely separate fork. I’m not saying you can’t be fast on WP suspension. I’m Vet A level (off-road) and can still move along pretty good. I’ve had Austrian bikes since 2014 because they are great bikes but at the same time I’ve also been battling the suspension woes with them. The only real fix is to convert them to KYB or go full cone valve. Both of which are pretty expensive. My whole point was, you can spend $12k on a new KTM then spend another $3k+ just...

Do we need another thread on this topic? KTM is owned by Pierer Mobility, who are having financial issues, they may not be in business next year. Chase has many years left in his career, he's looking after his long term future.

They’re perfectly fine for guys who are doing hard enduro or trail riding (great actually) but it’s discouraging having to spend $10-$12k on a bike then another $1500 in accessories and another $3k in suspension to make it decent for racing. Anyone who says the suspension isn’t a massive and expensive drawback is either lying or trail rides/rides hard enduro. I’ve said it many times around here, but there’s a reason why every suspension tuner offers a “fix” or KYB “conversions” for WP forks. No one offers WP conversion kits for KYB or Showa forks, and there’s a reason for...

Asa is an absolute mad man on a bike. Such a genuine kid too. So hyped to watch his career progress. That's sick he got to ride with Tomac.

Haiden was fine - doing quite well actually - so while a congratulations may have been appreciated, his general state likely wouldn't have been affected by it all that much. Cole, on the other hand, was not fine and a pat on the back and some encouraging words could have helped quite a bit. It's not difficult to see why one may be moved to encourage someone who's down more so than to interject oneself into someone else's celebration.
