Enjoyed the racing, always do no matter what, but the production was noticeably bad yesterday. Jason W was a great play by play announcer. He could call a race like few others. Now, he barely calls the action. And when he does it’s only for a few seconds and it’s off to story line management. You can tell he struggles with play by play now because it’s not what the production team wants. He has become a director of conversation rather than a true play by play announcer. Say what you want about Jett and the cameras….but I thought is was hilarious after the first moto they catch Jett slamming his helmet and dropping the F-bomb, only to quickly switch to Hunter dropping the F-bomb while getting off the bike and slamming his goggles and gear under the tent. Poor ole Weege had to go straight into apology mode.

It's horrific. Not only are there four announcers, they all speak way too much - and often about rubbish. Focus on the race. Let some space into the commentary. Go watch boxing commentary for how it should be done.
