From their website, Wasserman has negotiated $3B in NBA contracts over the past 5 years, they represent 4 of MLB's $100M+ players and close to a thousand musical artists from nobodies to Ed Sheeran; do you think they'd risk their firm's reputation by libeling an agent from a small sized sport like Supercross?

The Lawrence family value to wassermann is a rounding error for the company. Google them and what they have under their umbrella. They'd dump their entire list of motorsports clients before they'd take the hit to their reputation that would come from protecting a dirty agent.

Rookie moves on both sides. The Lawrence's should have never come out and stated the reasons for firing him and claimed fraud. They should have simply stated "we have parted ways" and the truth/story would have eventually come out. The second rookie move is Mirtl's response, looks like a high school kid wrote it. Bottom line is if Mirtl has a good defense the Lawrences just screwed themselves and will pay for defamation of character damages.
