In the interest of not seeing a rider, especially a title contender, miss any races I urge teams and riders to learn more about the PCR tests. Teams should demand that not more than 25-30 cycles be run on the PCR test. If you go beyond that range the false positive rate can be as high as 97%. There’s definitely some injuries that can happen at no fault of the rider like someone landing on them or tuff block on a landing, but injuries are usually caused from something somewhat in control by the rider. 12/9/2020 6:39pm Feels like racers are just gonna have to go into the season knowing this could randomly jump up and knock them out of a round or two. Pretty shitty, and I’m guessing this will lead to the famous asterisk debate if the series is decided by someone popping positive.

Crappy phone, crappy photo. Regardless, this is one of the 2 practice lineups for the 50 class this weekend at Woodland MX for the start of their Winter Series. There were 993 rider signups for 2 days of racing. It was absolutely crazy busy there, and the staff did a damn good job keeping things organized and on schedule, even with multiple meat wagon incidents on Saturday. Almost every class had full gates, and quite a few of the popular classes were split into multiple races, then 2 gate drops to manage all the riders. Moto is clearly alive...
