Just watched the post-Shougal presser in which Eli mentions that winning the ESPY was cool, but that he was surprised he never heard anything from the ESPY producers. No invite to the event, no livestream acceptance speech or even a pre-recorded "thanks" if he couldn't be there. Hell, he found out that we won when his brother sent him a screenshot. Eli then made his own IG video to thank his supporters. Seems like a rather shitty way to treat ANY nominee much less the guy that won the entire action sport category, which encompasses a ton of hugely popular...

Traffic/parking on the way in was a nightmare!!! not complaining but also thought it was strange that we walked right in without showing tickets or being checked for anything..went back to the truck between motos and filled our cooler with beer no one even at the gate

7/24/2022 1:23pm Definitely happy that you had fun. I felt Some things at the track were quite a cluster. And similar to being stoked that you had a good time, I’m happy the turnout was massive, but it made it really difficult to see very much, especially for the little kids.

6/17/2022 11:06am It’s sounding like corporate has been dropping the ball lately in more ways than one. Regarding treating their riders well, you’ve gotta think other top guys are going to remember the way KTM is going about this if an opportunity to ride for then comes up in the future.

At the risk of sounding like a vitard, I’m pretty disappointed with KTM’s attitude. Call me a diehard but I like riding a bike that comes from a manufacturer who puts 100% into their program. Even if KTM put out a PR about it or something, but dang I feel like they’re giving up a huge opportunity for the fans alone.

For clarity, my leaving is simply a business move. Vital is going one direction and I’ve decided that it’s best for me to go another. That’s it. I freakin wish, just don’t see it. Yet. Tomac is riding injured and will only get better. I think Sexton and roczen will do the same old thing they have been. Blazing fast and crash and/or get sick. and Anderson may sneak back closer to Dungey in points with how his speed has been. Time will certainly tell!

Yeah, I’m not going to pretend to know what goes into getting the outdoors on tv but I’ve said before that some people who grew up racing but who just want to sit down and turn on the TV (like my dad) gave up trying to watch the Nationals years ago. I know guys on here that are older are obviously more tech savvy than people like my dad who spends zero time online but he’s still a fan who always bought bikes, showed up to race, and fostered that love for moto in his kids.

His knee is tore up. I saw him at a 7-eleven today limping his way to the candy aisle. He picked up up three snickers and a pack of lemon zingers, than grabbed a 12 pack of Coors light. To his credit, he shared it with some homeless folks and I heard him doing some bench racing with his new friends while finishing the beer off. I waited until he was drunk to approach him and asked him if he was racing at Pala. He said he would be there and Star racing was going to tape his shit up...

Honest to f^&k, the internet will be the end of us I swear. I am super engaged in this topic as Outdoor MX is #1 in my heart. Giant hockey fan and lots of other stuff but nothing compares to MX. I loved Sports Gold and Peacock - both were well done and when network cut away for commercials they stayed and tbh that made you feel you were at the race if that makes sense. So, just for the record I would want that same coverage but it doesn't seem that will occur - yet. But, ffs Vital do...
