I'm in favor of the AMA actually enforcing rules around riders who ignore the waving blue flags by black flagging them. I get that sometimes they are in a battle of their own, but they need to realize nobody gives two shits about their battle for 17th place versus 16th place. They made it to the main event, act like they have been there before.

If the 250s were combined into a single class for all 17 rounds, that would be the more entertaining class to watch. Kinda hurts the whole “premier class” argument. I still think doing the 250s like this would be awesome: Region 1: Rounds 1-5 Region 2: Rounds 6-10 Championship: Rounds 11-17 (consists of the top 20 from each region) Basically works out to a 12 round SX championship (5 regionals, 7 combined) that rewards one national 250 SX champ at the end.

After listening to the Gypsy Tales interview I doubt Kenny will ever drop Fox or Red Bull.

Last year, Vialle was crowned 250 East champion (after being put on the ground hard at the start of race 1 and finishing 18th), beating Deegan. Then he got second behind the same Deegan in both the Outdoors and the SMX Cup. That's a lot of luck, for just one guy, in one season, indeed.

3. Jett never said he was going to beat 72 wins, nor that he wanted to. He said it would be cool to beat it, but some choose not to acknowledge that. The sport has changed a lot since the days of MC's reign. One could write a novel on the changes.... Bikes,Tracks,Training,Progression ect... Very hard to compare just with stats.

Barring injuries I think this is going to be one of the most entertaining 250 we’ve had in years. The talent pool is insane.
