7/10/2024 10:48am I really dislike Steve matthes. He has some pretty bad takes as well. I don’t mind the gypsytales dude. He was kind of weird to me at first but I’ve grown to like him fine. It helps that the guys he gets on there seem to like him as well. big thing I look at is if I met either one of the guys in person which one do you think would be nicer…. Lmfao. Should be pretty obvious.

7/10/2024 10:46am I use to love pulp but recently I can understand why riders do not like Steve. He just comes off as a pompous ass. Show quality as dramatically went downhill as well. Just as soon as something interesting gets brought by a cohost or guest he interrupts with a sponsor read.

7/8/2024 10:59am I bring this up mainly because of this whole "do I run the scoop tire or a regular tire" question. As we saw in moto 2 at Red Budd, Hunter didn't run the scoop and the team has admitted they made a mistake as his start suffered. Most everybody runs the scoop because of the tilled start straight. Well, how deep is it tilled? Why is it tilled at all? Why not scrape it flat or roll it so its more hard pack? Whats the thought process with what seems to always deep tilling the start straight? Then there is...

7/8/2024 10:58am Hey ML...here's a potential content idea for you. At each national track do an up close of the tractor(s) and ground prep implement(s) they use to work the track. Compare and contrast from week to week. Do a short 10 minute interview with somebody who is either in charge of track prep or who is running the equipment what their track prep theory is. Also ask whether what they do is influenced by Mxsports or any other influencer. Rip, deep till, shallow till, disc, spring tooth, etc, etc. Just ask some basic questions to educate the loyal Vital followers and...

7/8/2024 5:23am The solution to this is so simple. There were over 150 professional dirt bike racers signed up to race red bud. Many of them complain about the costs associated with racing. Every rider either pays a flagging fee or provides a flagger for an assigned practice or qualifying session. Guys making good money will just pay the fee. The rest will designate a flagger. Could be family member, mechanic, the rider himself.... For the main show you pay the privateers who didn't make it in or refund their entry fee. Could have the track totally lined with people who know...

7/7/2024 11:06am I disagree. I hate everything about the air fork. I don’t mind checking the pressure, I just can’t get comfortable on them. Some people may think they’re ok, til they ride a bike with KYB or just about any other top brand that’s nicely tuned.

7/6/2024 6:32pm Let's see if I can articulate this right. When RC does a podcast, it's just RC being himself on a podcast. When James announces a race, it's James Stewart being himself calling a race. When RC announces a race, it's RC playing what he thinks an announcer should sound like. It comes off forced and unnatural. To be clear James isn't perfect. But he's relaxed, he's funny and he's pretty damn good considering the amount of time he's been in the booth. Give him years and years under his belt and think how good he would be

Hank_Thrill Liked a forum topic Anyone digging the silence during the commercials?
7/6/2024 12:10pm I’m guessing the five minutes of no commentating has to do with commercial breaks or something, but holy shit it rocked to watch and hear those engines. edit: not sure why it’s locked. I appreciate the broadcasting and never complain about who is in the booth. I often defend them on here but the silence was a nice contrast.
