To correct a prior summary about the interview that wasn’t accurate/complete... He made clear he did not expect any money from the million. He DID lose money himself out of his kawi bonus and purse by moving over. (Not a lot to Eli (I.e. millionaire) but a significant amount to him and probably a TON to you or I. He was never even reimbursed that. Yeah he didn’t expect it but fuck yea then I would blow off steam about it if it were me. Also, if he didn’t move over...imagine the hate only Joey would get from the internet...

I dunno... I'm a huge Savatgy fan. Always have been. He's been awesome every time I've ever met him and at Unadilla this year we chatted for a solid 10 minutes about how he gets so much gear he literally has to throw some away every week or else it's too much to handle all at once among other topics (I'm a jersey collector so that stood out to me haha). Same with his dad and his mechanic. Always been a good conversation at the races. I don't get the hate.

I agree. I think people take it a bit too far with the hate. Like him or not, he's still a top rider in our sport and he's part of the formula that enables all of us to enjoy SX/MX events. People act like he's a loose canon rider who consistently puts other riders in danger, or just constantly rides like a jackass. I think this just might be what he needs to light the fire. I would love to see him at JGR next year putting in top 5's and a few podiums.

I agree, when he signed the deal he had to know what the future held. AC has been Kawi's kid since forever, there was really no way they were not going to have him on a 450 and Tomac's future was set on the team as well. So for Joey, it was a 1-year audition and in SX for the most part he made the best of it. Problem is, there are not a lot of great rides left for 2020 and this has made him frustrated and salty. Man GuyB. You always figure out a way to get absolutely rad shots that only the die-hard motocross fan can truly appreciate. That photo of AC tells the story of his entire career thus far. Curious: What do you do with the hundreds/thousands of extra photos you take and never get published? Do you ever dump them online anywhere? They may not be VitalMX worthy, but i know myself and others would love to just browse through random clips from the races.

Ken’s long time mechanic before that quit the first year after they moved to RCH together so he could go back to KTM to be an engine guy. Better hours, more family time and way less travel. In Oscar’s case, as GuyB stated, less hours away from home and a much shorter drive (we’re talking probably 2 hours less driving every single day). A bump up in position from mechanic to crew chief. While working for one of the top guys has to be cool, it’s not everything in life, family definitely rates higher.

I have yet to watch, but I'm not gonna buy a 20. However, I am thoroughly impressed that you (ML) pissed off the mags. F'em! Mr. Info seems like a crybaby bitch who probably works at a mag company. Shit or get off the pot. Having to wait for mags to gather their bearings blows. The 20s are hitting the showroom obviously. I don't want a review in December.
