Correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't the spoke wire-ties also add a bit of lateral rigidity to the wheel as well? So it can be used as a tuning tool.

Jeff, Thank you!! Yours is sweet too! On the bigger alloy pieces I use good old fashioned elbow grease, scotch bright pads, and a corrosion inhibitor made by CRC called 3-36. I use that stuff on everything that doesnt need grease, anti-seize, or Locktight. ... more »
Garner, It is the OEM one cerekoted. It has held up great and was done back in 2019.

Im guessing Coldenhoff's fancy tape job is to protect his fancy paint from rock chips, if it was a rocky track. If you look the chin bar, its taped up to just past the master logo.
