I recently added all the lap data from 2003-present in my database and I've used it to look into the margin of victory numbers. The racing has been trending closer and closer at the checkered flag. From 2003-2014, the first twelve years of the data, the average margin of victory in the Premier class was 6.952 seconds. In the previous twelve years through 2026, it has dropped to an average of 5.353. I did not include triple crown main events in these since they are much shorter. People say there needs to be a more affordable entry level MX bike, then when one shows up, they don't like it. It takes more than steel bars and older design suspension components to knock that much money off.

Visitors banged on the fence to scare Yorkshire Wildlife Park's tiger away. A man had climbed into the tiger enclosure from a raised walkway on Saturday afternoon, one witness told the BBC. Other visitors tried to drive the tiger off by making noise at the fence. Staff then cleared the walkway, where 15 to 20 people had been standing, and later the whole park near Doncaster, England. Paramedics came, but the man died at the scene. Police have asked people not to share videos of what happened. Yorkshire Wildlife Park says the tiger, Altai, will not be euthanized. Sources: BBC...

I've been to Salt Lake city, Vegas, Washougal and Pala, I've ridden Glen Helen, Lake Elsinore, Fox Raceway, LACR, Cahuilla and Perris. I'm so grateful that I did but not everyone has that opportunity when we live at the bottom of the world.

Also another issue nobody is really talking about is ever since they moved it up from 7pm to 5pm, well last year they moved it even earlier to 4pm and half the crowd had to sit IN THE SUN for about 90 minutes! Something about day races for Supercross aren’t the same. These are very expensive seats too.

You should be proud of your guys for coming over and representing your country! Yes, they didn't win, but they made a lot of fans from the spectators and other riders the way the they were and they gave it their all. Instead a lot of critics for their results. Why? Maybe that little brat would place a few spots higher, but do you really want that d'bag represent your country? Acting like an idiot, riding like the SMX finale with Shimoda, trying to take people out all over the place or giving other riders stupid names thinking he is...

Thanks Maverick for the great content posting. What a beautiful celebration of Motocross over the weekend. Such a cool event that really brings together the world and all differences are set aside for the love of the game! Fantastic. The event at Ernee made our sport feel on par with MotoGP or similar. Also, pretty amazing comment from Harry Everts. Now there are 3 x Generations of Everts that are MXON winners for Belgium. Harry in 79/80s, Stefan 5 x times, and now Liam. Not sure we will see that Stat repeated in our lifetime. Very cool
