So interesting how his attitude has changed. Confident, but also humble. Maybe many have forgotten, but when he first appeared on the MX2 scene he was far more arrogant, and maybe even like Deegan is now. I guess it’s an age thing, but I like Jeffrey’s outlook now.
Thanks @-MAVERICK- for such a solid list of relevant videos and interviews.
I'd imagine it's been asked somewhere but not seeing it?
Don't guess there's been any spectator vids of Kitchen being taken out?
Check out the fan video in Mxon the races thread. Clearly show Forato ahead of Kitchen and Levi ran into the back of him. Racing incident.
This venue is phenomenal. The races were great. Congrats to Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands. Great racing.
not a takeout at all imo
That was the best event in many years! 105,000 people! Sucks what happened to Kitchen but could you imagine the target Deegan would have?! The fans made this special and the riders turned up!
Pit Row
No mate, you rode into the back of him.
If he had it hit you, you would have known about it.
Lack of racecraft showing through
Forato deserves a collective apology starting with Cooper
Come on, Levi, how can you say “he clean me up”? For a professional U.S. Supercross rider, that was a very clean pass. Admit that you were the one who made the mistake by hitting his rear wheel while accelerating, he had already passed you cleanly in the turn.
Look at the double pass Forato made right after that. You’ll see that the Triumph rider was much closer than yours and didn’t crash.
IMO he was 10 times worse years ago, and I think he deserved to be he was that good at the time - remember Pocock at Lommel.
Think the attitude was what was needed back then, instead of thanking team & sponsors a nice bit of reality was refreshing. Apart from Deegan (who is not in that ballpark yet)who else comes close?
Lol. First time I saw that. That doesn't look good for Kitchen's argument... Man I hate the lack of accountability in society nowadays.
When I heard Levi say he was taken out and that a rider had ran into him with the throttle wide open...no doubt imagined some kind of t-bone deal.
I'm a big fan of our guys that stepped up this year but seeing that pass now, no clue how anyone would claim to be "taken out" by that pass. Learning lesson for the day...either check up and don't run into the back of the other guy or don't leave 99.99% of the corner open to the guy trying to pass you.
Thanks Maverick for the great content posting. What a beautiful celebration of Motocross over the weekend. Such a cool event that really brings together the world and all differences are set aside for the love of the game! Fantastic. The event at Ernee made our sport feel on par with MotoGP or similar.
Also, pretty amazing comment from Harry Everts. Now there are 3 x Generations of Everts that are MXON winners for Belgium. Harry in 79/80s, Stefan 5 x times, and now Liam. Not sure we will see that Stat repeated in our lifetime. Very cool
Maybe one day we wont suck so bad at this event. It's a shame that little bitches like Deegan won't show up for their country. Levi and Julien were terrible at best.
