5/26/2026 4:49pm We did TKD. As soon as one kid got his black belt he never wanted to go again. We are involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. Almost every day of the week during school, admittedly less during the summer. Baseball 4 nights a week, marching band, band camp, jazz band, drama club, summer camps, VBS, youth group on wednesdays...

5/26/2026 3:48pm I am hoping some of you have some tips or advice for me... I am step-dad to 2 teen-agers. We get along great, however I always seem to get worked up at their lack of motivation. It seems to be the norm among their peers as well. I work from home, so when they are off school, I seem to...

5/24/2026 2:41am Sepsis is scary stuff. I don't want to share too many details, but I just got out of the hospital with sepsis. Spent almost 2 weeks in the hospital. Mother's Day I was fine, made a big dinner for the wife and family and before dinner was over I felt like I was crashing. My temperature was 101.8 and I...

MX45 Added a reply to Can we ez up on the elevation talk?
5/7/2026 11:29am Will Christien talked to an elevationologist earlier and he said it's all about knowing what elevation you need to acclimate to so that you can acclimate to the elevation. Hunter and Ken live and train at the same elevation in Florida which doesn't have elevation so they aren't able to train at elevation. What it really comes down to is...

4/27/2026 5:00pm It doesn't sound like racing & announcing/analysis anymore. It sounds more like a podcast with supercross in the background. The commentary will center on the action for a brief moment, then it doodles off into bro-ville quickly. I don't hate the guys, and I don't mute it. I don't care about grammatical errors, or accents. I just wish they'd "stay on target" just a litttttle tighter. This is partially on Bondo but I don't even want to open that barrel of monkeys. Raceday Live is starting to get a little bad at this too. Love the dialogue, but I figure...

4/12/2026 12:24pm Examples of the democrat idiocy that come to mind are open borders, dei, taxes, trans agenda, not punishing criminals, shutting down oil pipelines, not deporting illegal aliens, electric car mandates, men in women’s sports, vaccine mandates, and green energy like windmills. Stupid fucking democrats are guaranteed to bring all this stuff back if they are in position again to do so. Be careful what you wish / vote for. Tell me where I am wrong.

3/7/2026 4:20pm I wonder how many broadcast coaches are like movie critics? The finer points that get them excited are totally lost on most viewers and focusing too much on those sacrifices the stuff that draws the average fan in but is considered beneath the experts. They take a guy that everyone loves in their natural state and then the critic tries to mold that into a thing that the critics like instead.

2/22/2026 12:48am The first few things that are glaringly obvious are: 1. They need to take 1/4 psi out of the rear shock. 2. The sag needs to be at 101.5mm for hold up when exiting sector 3 of a corner. 3. He needs to go to a stock clutch lever and an ASV front brake lever. That set up will assist in balancing the chassis on banana transitions in long rhythm lanes.

1/16/2026 11:28pm Sometime last year there was a post here about Arkansas House Bill 1465, which concerned the liability of dirtbike use on private property. Many other states are and have introduced similar language. I took this language and modified it slightly to extend the liability coverage to land owners, spectators and event promoters, as well as covering ATVs and SXS under the "off road vehicle" nomenclature. I invited my Indiana rep, Lori Goss-Reaves, to meet with a few of us from the Muddobbers Motorcycle Club to discuss why these protections are important to the off road community. She was in full...
