I totally forgot/didn't realise that this weekend in Houston is a triple crown. I have a feeling there's going to be some surprise winners and podiums in both classes.
I feel Kenny and Prado could be 2 guys that are a strong chance of the overall. Webb also has had a crappy season so far but he's always pretty decent at triple crowns.
Anstie would be a solid choice for 250, it's pretty much the WSX format which he dominated so I feel he'll be at least on the podium if not the top step. Kitchen if he can get his shit together and get a clean start will be a contender for the win (I hope).
Tomac has DOUBLE the Triple Crown race wins and overall wins over everyone else. I expect the same this weekend.
Hunter gets first win without winning a race would be the most hunter thing ever.
I didn’t realize it was a T Crown either until I looked at the schedule earlier today on X. Might shake things up.
So ur sayin' his number is up?

Kenny or Eli in 450
Gonna be a bit nippy. In Houston this weekend, In the mid thirties by the end of the race.
Hunter and Kenny come up big. Stamp it.
Triple crown keys to race
1) Starts
2) Don’t fall down in the first turn Levi
3) Don’t hit the gate Chase
We will see if Deegan gets better starts. I’m rooting for Anstie and Levi if he can get around the first corner top 8. Deegan starts top 3 I don’t see anyone winning a single one.
450 will be good. I think this is Prados best chance to match or better his seasons best. Hunter also starts good. Would suck to have him win the overall without winning a single one for his first win but at this point I’m sure he will take it. If Anderson rides like last week he can put it on the podium. Roczen wants it bad so I can’t wait to see him with a good start. The depth is wild and that’s not even talking about Eli or Chase who have already won and who can of course win. I’m ready for another great weekend of racing first one of the year I’m missing in person.
Hunter, KRoc and Prado are notable for their specific skills and how they apply at a triple crown.
But Eli is the triple crown master…
And last triple crown Chase was in, he had complete control and brain farted. If he learned from it, watch out.
Ironically those are my fantasy top 5, but what order? I’ll prob change it 5 times before the gate drop.
