MC needs to take RVs old spot at Yamaha. To me when I think of MC I think of Yamaha anyways. MC at Kawi and RV when he was at Yamaha always seemed like a mismatch to me.

im sure the team would like to keep him, but the results on weekends arent enough to justify keeping him, and i would wager forkners heart isnt in it Forkner is a head case right now and staying in the game is only hurting him. If there is a future in racing for him, he needs a sabbatical like Kevin windham had in 02-03. He needs time to finish healing mentally.

I think you are correct for the most part. Likely a family discussion on retirement timeline at minimum. He has had an unusual amount of bad luck. Practically taken out of five races this year in incidents with other riders, which is rare for him. However he is tough as hell, still one of the most fit and most skilled out there. Still winning races this year. Maybe his patience has waned and he is pushing harder than usual to get to the front due to the fact he knows time is running out? I am at that point in...
