I heard the 130k number as well. I'm betting that was weekend attendance. That is how they promote the attendance at F1 and MotoGP events. Sunday was attendance was a significant increase over Saturday. Sunday I would guess close to if not over 50k.

A couple of my thoughts. This past weekend was first visit to Unadilla. My wife and I have been to about half of the tracks on the MX series. From a nostalgia and spectating standpoint I understand the desire to have a MXON at Unadilla. The viewing was pretty good and you could see a significant part of the track...

Yeah, I was looking forward to getting VIP tickets since I live in IN. But, $2500..... Not happening. Poor man's tickets for me.

I too was considering VIP tickets, but when the prices came out it was an easy pass. I live in Indiana and never dreamed MXON would be so close. I was willing to drop a good amount on VIP, but at a certain point the cost exceeds the fun factor. General admission for my family, we will be there.

Canopies lining the fence are a problem at multiple tracks we have been to as well. We use umbrellas for shade and when the racing starts we put them down to respect everyone's view.

The track is great. Most of the riders talk about how they enjoy riding there. Being so late on the schedule I think hurts it. Hopefully MXON one day.

Went last year for the first time. Standing on the oval track is the best. Just a different feel than a regular supercross.

Like a lot have said above, IRONMAN. Most all of the riders love the track. The facility is great and they could expand the parking and camping spots if need be.
