They’ve been saying High point, but I would love Millville or Glen Helen. Only problem with GH is the heat. Although it will be held in October now. Probably still be hot! But USA guys would like it

Like a lot have said above, IRONMAN. Most all of the riders love the track. The facility is great and they could expand the parking and camping spots if need be.

Ironman will be a great MXoN track. I don't get how people here are advocating for Glen Helen...it's the best track in SoCal, sure...but still the worst track on the circuit when it's in the mix. SoCal easily has the worst national tracks in the country.

And I live here...I love SoCal...but our tracks are trash. Dirt sucks, the scenery and vibe are god awful...it'd be an embarrassment to the whole nation to bring MXoN here.

Millville or Ironman are perfect.

I have heard COTA has been interested in hosting a major motocross event, they have the facilities, staff, parking, big city with an international airport, they would just need to construct a track.

Harsh but honest response from a SoCal native, gotta respect that!

The trademark hills at GH are undeniable, that's what we all think of.

I got told that the MXON will be held in the USA every 4 years for the foreseeable future.

As to Glen Helen, the last time they tried MXGP and the MXoN hardly any fans showed up. I love the track but the facility and ownership is not suitable for an event like the MXoN.

Regardless, September is by far the hottest month in SoCal, way too hot for anyone from Europe to deal with.

I think Southwick should get a shot
Legendary track and one of the most loved American tracks to not have an MXoN yet.. I'm a younger fan (21) so if there is a reason that I have missed please let me know!

Unadilla or High Point I would say are most capable and have most history!

High Point has a lot more viewpoints than Redbud in my opinion, fans always go crazy too, Unadilla would be so fun as well, I'd say them and Ironman have the best shot besides Redbud.

The facility is WAY too small to hold this size of event.

After reading more of the replies to this I started to gather that sadly, I saw people say High Point, I live by High Point so that would be a dream come true, but Ironman is seeming the most likely. Ironman is great too though.

I’d love for it to be High Point. Great views where you can see almost the whole track from wherever you stand. Has been great racing the past few years with multiple lines, etc. Only downside is the past few nationals have been a disaster getting in and out. Very disorganized parking and gates.

I’ve always said SoCal focus on quantity over quality. Some of the shittiest layouts and dirt I’ve ever rode

There’s no point in having a mxon here. By the time it come closer to reality you’ll be tired of seeing all the donuts on the podium and other gimmicks. All these girls that want him but he doesn’t want one back. Very peculiar . We shall see

Viewing is very difficult there. Its only a few hours from me. I went to national, mxgp, llq and everytime im like i cant see shit, only where you are standing. It was a fun track to ride though!!

I just dont see high point having the room, that place can get fairly full for a race, no way it would be able to fit the amount of campers as there was at red bud the 2 mxon i went to there.

Agree it's a very good track but having been there for 25 nationals I don't think it has enough capacity for parking/campers and only has one highway to access, traffic would be mess IMHO. They would also need a major upgrade to facility, gravel roads, fencing etc.

I haven't been up there since 2017 but man I just don't see it being any worse than Red Bud same little 2 lane highway going in. You'd think the neighbors would work with them on parking in fields. I don't know just doesn't seem like it's any smaller if much than Red Bud. Viewing is better and the track is better.

Opening this thread back up now that we know ‘24 is in the UK at Matterley and ‘26 has been all but confirmed to be another French venue (possibly Ernée again, maybe Saint Jean, maybe even Royal Hills with their huge acreage), it’s looking like our only shot in the near future could be ‘25, as Steve Matthes has hinted a time or two.

What are we thinking? Is ‘25 likely? If so, I’m thinking Ironman is the front runner, with High Point and Unadilla as real contenders, and of course a return to RedBud totally possible.

If you’re forcing me to put money down, though, I’d say if it happens in ‘25 it’s going to be Ironman or Dilla.

MILLVILLE is long overdue for MXdN.

Like if you agree.

I've read some places that make it sound like ironman is done deal. If so, just tell me where to send my money for the vip section and I'm in heaven.

Oh but grasshopper there is a back entrance at Red Bud that few are aware of...I used it for both MXDN and there was literally zero traffic...
