You got to be able to house the race crew and teams and all the people plus have the required infrastructure set by MXGP but most importantly, be able to get the international peeps in and out plus accommodate. This is an international race and without all the internationals, it's just another national run by a different mob with a camo of top riders (which I'm sure plenty of you would be happy with) but it just wouldn't be the same race or atmosphere.

It's great that more American's are getting onboard finally but you lot have also got to stop being so greedy. There's 40 other countries that want it also.
I don’t think it’s about being greedy, the American market is dominant over the others in terms of sales and without them or the AMA based internationals, ie French/Aussie or Saffers etc, it’s just another GP. It needs everyone obviously so it it encourages the AMA rider participation it should be held there often.

WW Ranch in Florida has hosted a GP so there must be some relationship there. They have a ton of parking and the GP's have shown that they don't need a natural terrain track. The only downside I could see is spinning up off the coast of Cuba right now.

Manjimup Australia.
With Malin and Emig commentating.
Great track but a pain to get to. Fly in to Perth then a 2 hour drive south from memory? Did it in 92 and ended up on a mini bus with Swiss team some how which was super cool for a MX mad lad. Rock stars aren't all up for that these days. Accommodation is also low if you don't want to rough it but things could well have changed in 30 years. But definitely time for another MXoN in Australia. On the east coast Wink

Came here to say this. Add in a little track from the diamondback side and they should be good. Make it happen.

Actually thinking of gatorback again, spectating wouldn’t be very great. Not enough places to view.

Better than coming to the East coast if you’re coming from Europe!

Thinking 2017 maybe? Still wish GH would/could step up and host a race of this caliber!

*MXdN
GH is so logical it's stupid.

Maybe someday cooler heads will prevail in regards to the politics and economics of this place and be fair. Maybe management will change one day.

I think it's going to Ironman next but Spring Creek would be so epic as well.

Hangtown seems like a good option. Huge venue, close to SFO/OAK international airports, (hell even SMF), great historical track, and the likelihood of it turning into a mudder in September are just about slim to none. Get Hangtown on the calendar while GH continues to sniff their own farts.

Ironman, Southwick or Millville would be great.
Southwick will be awesome but I'm just not sure that there will be enough spectator room around the trackside.

The race belongs at redbud for many reasons. A couple reasons it’s a sand track so it’s equil for everyone. Redbud gets the biggest crowds. Great for European riders Chicago has the largest population of European people in the country. I dealt with people from 6 countries sat. I,m sure the Italian riders r checking out little Italy Monday, etc

I really wish it would become a 5 year schedule with 3 being in Europe then one in the americas , then one being asia/Oceania , Taupo would be wicked for a nz edition , and maybe one in Japan or Indonesia would actually pull and international crowd

Too bad Steel City is gone. That would have been the perfect location IMO.

If High Point was a little easier logistically, that would be a solid track.

Ironman has to be on the short list.

I,m sure they do unless there super boring. I,m sure the Dutch riders checked out Holland Mi. Or maybe Combined Locks in Wi. Where a wind mill from Holland is. A few hr lay over in nyc I,m sure the Dutch will take a tour of New Amsterdam the original name of nyc. They designed the boroughs. Sears tower sky deck you can see 4 states on a clear day. Chicago has a lot to see and the most gorgeous women in America. I,m sure some riders hv family here and they would show them around. I,m 1st generation American born most of my relation is still in Holland. They take 4+ week vacations here and travel all ovr America.

BVM would know better than me, but I don't think there's a track in Japan that could handle a des Nations sized crowd.
