Lol, I only said that because EVERY motocross rider I know that has hip replacement its always been the right hip or both (both only on people over 60). I have never met any fellow motocross or dirt bike rider under the age of 60 that had their left hip only replaced. I swear I think it has to do with kick starting dirt bikes for decades.......

Yep. Him and his fans knew this weekend was his best chance, his favorite track and the brothers least. And then he gets a minute out on him first moto and is right next to Jett yet gets dropped the last laps of the moto 2. Definitely not getting closer, no matter how much they say it, but maintaining the times from the start of the season.

I was just going through the post race press conference and thought that it’s a shame that he needs a good beating each weekend to act like that. He was pretty light hearted and humble, and if he had been acting like that his whole career I would probably have been a fan. But with his and his fathers history we all know that this is just some backpedaling because he is not winning and as soon as he wins again the nonsense will start pouring out of his mouth again.

Deegan is fast and actually pretty exciting to watch come through the pack, but he isn't Lawrence fast and maybe never will be. The thing is, most, if not all the hate he gets comes from the garbage that comes out of his mouth and is more than justified. If he just shut his mouth and let his riding do the talking he would gain more fans and respect.

Consistency is definitely a bigger issue than talent in the 250 class. Plenty of dudes can absolutely rip. But doing it for 30+2 or a full SX main is no easy feat.

Maybe but would it really change anything? Its not just a Kawi/PC issue in picking the wrong riders when it comes to the 250 class. After Jett and Hunter moved up Deegan was the only consistent rider. Outside of Davies (with the exception of this past weekend) the 250 class seems like a collection of riders that can't stay on two wheels.

SMX is not a championship. It's a three-race gimmick in which the sole purpose is designed to keep more riders from competing in WSX.
