He absolutely wasn’t “presenting himself as FMOTP” or acting like he’d gap the field. Where are these quotes? There isn't any. All there is; is a dumb/cringe shirt that was click/rage/engagement social media bait. Outside of that there is just people and the media rewriting his confidence and motivation into something it never was. He did say he came to “make a statement,” but not that he would beat Jett specifically. He literally says he’s “got a lot of work to do” before he can run with the 450 guys. Considering Haiden started as far back as he did both Motos which required him to come through the pack and restrict his line choices, 25 seconds back is really not all that bad. If he manages to pull off a good start, he should be able to hang right in there. Pala just showed us that Haiden has podium level speed and we shouldn’t be all too surprised if he racks up a few of them this season. Let’s be honest, take away the stupid T-shirt he wore, lame ass jewelry, and considering the class of guys he’s now racing...
