Comparison really is the thief of enjoyment - and it's still funny to see the same meltdowns in this thread and across the whole site. Even when someone puts some nice effort into a post. Some can't handle it with their hypothetical match ups and debates. I just enjoy watching the actual current racing some of you should try it. “To beat the champ, you gotta knock ‘em out!”- Joe Davis

I will say I was one of the ones who thought he’d struggle against the top 10. The only reason he’s zero’d out on the stats is because the Lawrence’s. He’s still empty on the scoreboard but he’s been better than I thought he’d be.

The most you can draw from those stats is that their rookie 450 seasons are somewhat similar, not that Deegan is Barcia 2.0. As you said, only time will tell, but Barcia (or Windham for that matter) didn’t enter the 450 class with 2 250 outdoor titles. That alone separates Deegan from them.

His fans for the most part said he’d take a win or two but probably wouldn’t beat Jett. If anything, they underestimated Hunter. Most fans said he’d be 3rd to 5th his rookie season. If it’s different, you are welcome to show all these so called fans who said he’d smoke the field to support your claim. All you’ll likely...

Nothing is free, but there’s a big difference between a program designed to help amateurs grow and flourish as they move to the pros, and one that is more interested in lining their pockets.

It’s a money grab event now. Nothing to do with helping to groom the riders for future success. We need a legitimate amateur program akin to the emx series in Europe. You can’t even piss at the event without them wanting you to pay for it.

This was a very nice one just not a great angle. Be about. ‘90 . Healey on KTM’s in 250 GP’s - he bought a “ Guns n Roses west coast cool guy” vibe to the GP scene and we all lapped it up and loved it.

A part of winning is staying healthy. Ask Ryan Dungey. So far, Sacha is injured as is his brother, Lucas, who is for all practical purposes, out of contention for the MXGP title. Being fast is a good thing. Being fast with crashes and injuries is another.

Any reasonable person looking at the actual data can see that Haiden back way off on the last two laps. He went from consistently doing 2:17 and 2:18 laps to suddenly 2:21 and 2:24 on the last two laps which is where Jett gained a 13 second gap. He knew he wasn’t going match Jett’s pace and rode the last...
