Calm down gents, Deegan has a valid reason for not being able to represent the USA this year. He is having surgery to remove that hardware in his wrist and then he will be flying across to Cape Town South Africa for a holiday. I'm gonna get to hang with him and cruise around the Western Cape site seeing. He is a good kid and his parents are 100% moto...down to earth like most normal folk. Hayden has said he is in for the MXoNs next year and beyond if he is chosen. You guys are blessed to have this...

So cool for both of you to share that! As much as I love the racing and training, my favorite part BY FAR is getting to spend so much time with my dad. I always thought it was strange that my friends would show up to practice days and races by themselves. It took me a long time to realize that I was the strange one for always having him with me! And by "strange", I of course mean "insanely lucky". He'll work an 8pm to 8am 12-hour night shift at the hospital and still show up to a 10am...

What the hell are you talking about? Obviously you JUST started watching his videos. She went with him everywhere. She was in all his videos. They were a team. Quit trying to make it something it’s not, asshole. Why do pos like yourself always try and twist shit? One of three things happened to Eli. He was injured, sick, or had bike problems. I can't believe that's not obvious to people speculating he just "wasn't feeling it". He was riding around letting people go by as if he was on a parade lap. Something was clearly wrong.

I think the fact that he knows right hand first turns are more dangerous…then consciously makes a decision to cut to the inside…is part of his problem…he just makes poor racing decisions. Had he held his line…he comes out of the first turn in 2nd or 3rd and avoids controversy…but he decides to cut to the inside. Poor decision making is why he’s had so many of these incidents.

Great tires but going to be overkill and very heavy for local singletrack type biking. You can dramatically feel the difference when switching to lighter faster tires. 12/6/2023 4:49am I was in the exact same boat as you and did make the switch. Last mx bike was a 2020 kx250f. Though I've been mountain biking since the early 90's. Imo it's not nearly equal the satisfaction. At least the typical xc/singletrack type of trails I ride. Maybe if you're riding those downhill runs at Whistler with the big jumps...

12/6/2023 4:37am That's interesting. I wonder if you were running higher tire pressures than necessary when you went tubeless. Makes a big difference imo. With tubeless you can run lower tire pressures which lets the tires conform to bumps/rocks/roots which in turn provides better traction and feels more supple and less bouncy.
