I think the fact that he knows right hand first turns are more dangerous…then consciously makes a decision to cut to the inside…is part of his problem…he just makes poor racing decisions.
Had he held his line…he comes out of the first turn in 2nd or 3rd and avoids controversy…but he decides to cut to the inside. Poor decision making is why he’s had so many of these incidents.
