Yes I did race(14 years), No I wasn't very good but I had a great time and still go to every race that I can.
Love most sports but will always follow moto. Maybe one day, with the permission of 'She who must be obeyed' I'll give the vets a shot. Until then I'll enjoy my 4 sons, the sound of the surf and some good bench racing!

Anyway back to the topic................ I'll just throw in a little Aussie bias and say that Dan Reardon will finish top 3 more often than he doesn't this year. He's super fit, hungry and with a 'rookie' year behind him will be very tough to beat. other top 5 regulars of course will be Dungey JLaw Canard & Weimer

Factory Showa forks run at around $25,000 and are seriously different to what you get on a showroom bike. Doesn't make them any better or any worse than KYB factory or even Ohlins. The gap between me and first place is directly related to bike size, On my 80 I was up there, 125 bit further behind, 250 smoked! When they brought out the 450 I was hitting the first corner just as the race finished!

Have you ever spoken to Chad? Or are you just forming an opinion on internet gossip and online magazine interviews? I have no idea what it's like to ride a bike at the pace Chad does (or any other pro for that matter) but if he says the wouldn't turn then it probably didn't. And that was the 07 anyway...
