If theres one guy who has been stepping it up to compete with stewart,its REED..like him or not,hes doing everything he can to race with james..he just won the aussie sx championship..i know he said he didn't like James,but thats just a mental game and alot of other riders before him didn't like each other..so its nothing new..

Stewart has owned Reed and thats probaly why Reed wants to win real bad too..

I don't think Reed will beat Stewart,but at least hes going to give it his best..i believe RV will be up there also,but hes just a rookie in the big boy class and doesn't have the rivalry like JS and CR

I'm not a huge Reed fan but I think its going to be great to watch those two go at it. Hope they keep it up all season

One thing you can never take away from Reed, is his desire to win. He has always been one of the very few guys that still believes he can win. He did it with RC and he's doing it with JS. He never settles for second and he still races to win.

Gotta' respect the guy for that.

James has stepped it up as well - from a good source - I can't imagine going faster than before....not to take anything away from CR.

Let's hear what's so big on Reed's side that's going to make up the speed on a guy who handed it to the top riders in the best series with a perfect record.

Wow. Somebody who wants to talk logic. This guy probably knows more than the "insiders" around this place.

RD & RC? Yep. Admirable. But, you gotta admit that Stew was handing it to RC in SX last time. RC had to play it real smart to beat him, and we both know that Reed never had the speed RC did. Not even close. You can't teach that kind of speed.

New team doesn't mean a helluva lot to Reed. He's been bitching about his equipment wherever he goes.

Reed's reigning champ only when Stew wasn't around to race, and he knows it. Stew owns him. I'd bet Reed still has nightmares about Unadilla back in the 125 days when Stew showed him who was boss.

Thanks about the 500. It's a far better bike than I'll ever be a rider.
