For those of us who ride, what has been the best cornering and suspended bike you have ridden, not including the power department.

A few weeks ago I raced a buddies '05 RM250, man I LOVE that thing. I forgot how forgiving steel frames are. the thing cornered like a dream and the suspension was awesome, all stock, I didn't even set the sag. It could flat track and rail berms and ruts, it was a little twitchy compared to my hondas but I felt compfortable with it getting a little excited, since it was so nimble I could just ride real relaxed. Getting that thing to go anywhere was a little troubling, I guess slow bikes handle well.

1. I know this sounds preposterous and bamboozling, but my ol' 87 Honda 250 was a

plush and pleasant ride.

2. My '08 KXF Too-Fiddy - She's just bitchin'.....

3. Dan Poole's '05 CRF450 - Dan just knows how to make adjustments.....

and he hates heavy boots - says you can feel the boots auto-rotating - while you wreck..

Don't laugh now but the best handling bike I ever rode in tight woods was a PUCH.

I really think my '07 CR500AF is the best handling bike I ever had. My 125 Rickman/Zundapp handled great but had so little power it almost HAD to handle good. My new 500 isn't like that - it handles great and it's downright brisk in the power department.

1975 KX 250, my first 250, I loved that bike, next 1978 YZ 125, most fun I ever had racing, I raced open money with 250's and open class bikes and beat most

2000 RM 125, best 125 I ever rode.
The 2004 YZF 250, was able to throw that bike all around.

My RM 250, I only wish I would have ridden these four or 5 year ago. Better late than never.

You can't spell crap without rap.

Late model YZ125.
Late model RM250.

11/12/2008 8:28 PM

1990 YZ 250. Best handler I ever raced.
Older bike wise, my '78 250 Pursang and '79 Maico 250 Mag were darn good handlers.

11/12/2008 8:48 PM

Late model RM250 for sure. No contest!

11/12/2008 9:21 PM

Junior R- (crf150R chassis /CRF250R engine)

Thank god someone sees the light. I mentioned this bike in another post.

Stiff, headshaking piece of shit. I used to end up on my ass asking myself 'what did I do wrong?'

98/99 YZ's were good 98/99 YZF's weren't.

Maybe mxpimp never let the clutch out?

It went like stink too.

Empty a bag of skittles into the toilet and then flush. It's like watching a five second long nascar race.

RMs TURN! Just look that way and it goes there. Wicked handling and suspension.

Too bad the rest of it was a bucket of bolts.
