Kenny. When Kenny was battling Dunge I thought Ken was arrogant and unlikable. After his injury he was much more humble and now in the later stages of his career is someone that I can cheer for. Eli has seemed to go the other way, was likable and now he seems so standoffish, to boycott Pulp just because he said he’s getting old and didnt think he would win the championship? Heck his dad still goes on the show, would think he could take 15 minutes to talk to his fans…

What kind of damage could a hay bale cause to an ankle/knee. The 450 main start at Birmingham, Tomac smacks a hay bale with his left foot pretty good. Timeline makes sense if this was the incident.

He’s injured. Avoid hitting the ground is priority 1. IMO

I duno if you guys saw his post race interview, but he looked stone cold. Wasn’t even happy to inherit the red plate. This could indicate that he has something that isn’t going to get better anytime soon.

This is similar to the year at Atlanta when he dabbed his foot and tweaked his knee. He had a couple races where he lost the aggression and speed, but never confirmed an injury until a few weeks later. Someone mentioned it earlier, Tomac isn’t pushing through the rhythms like he usually is, even in the beginning of the race. His position on the bike looks different too, much farther back than usual. Typical arm pump Tomac would be able to push early but fall off 8-10 minutes in. I still think back to his wreck in 2017 (damn it's been almost 10 years!) when it seemed like his career might be over. Even though I'm a diehard team Green guy, I can't help but damn near get choked up with how happy and proud I am of him to overcome such a massive injury and still pull out wins. Ken would be a lot closer in points to Tomac if Hunter hadn't of taken him out at Seattle. I know it was an accident, and Hunter apologized, but I'm just saying. Ken is looking really on his game right now.

HUnter fan and i want him to win still but im not going to be mad if Roczen got it done. If theres a rider without a 450 sx title that deserves one, its him.

I almost put more stock in the race wins. It takes outright speed to speed to win races over and over again. You can do everything right and still lose a title due to bad luck (no fault injuries, mechanicals, racing incident). A little better luck and Elie could have 3 or 4 SX titles (2023 achilles & 2017 front brake failure). Dungy and RV each lost a title due to no fault of their own as well. Tomac has said he's enjoying racing and will race as long as he's enjoying it and competitive. I hope he sticks around...

Objectively it wasn’t, but it’s death by a thousand papercuts with that kid. Each take out in and of itself is probably easily explained. But you start adding them up and you have a pattern of it. This is coming from a deegan fan haha

Roczen was insanely good too. No one else was even close to these guys. Would be absolutely stoked to see either of these guys take the championship to be honest.

I’m hoping he decides to go 450 full time starting at A1. I can understand wanting to end 250 supercross on a high note, but I think he would learn a lot more on the 450. Would make the 450 class even more exciting than it is already too.

I said it in the thread tht was made months ago , ando & especially coop & Eli wouldn’t have the many titles they have if Kenny never got his arm destroyed but as yal kno this how sports is forreal , injuries can either break or make a potential dynasty run

I'm like you. The most striking thing to me about watching pro racing live is how good the guys are that aren't even considered good. It's the only thing that puts some perspective on just how phenomenal the top guys are
