Something that others see as motivational and inspiring really pisses me off. I'm talking about how every so often I stumble across an article about someone who had a critical spine injury and "due to the fact that they refused to give up" they can now walk and carry on like they "beat" the injury through perseverance. Don't misunderstand me. The fact that ANYONE can make it through that dark tunnel and be able to function with any semblance of normalcy is absolutely "inspiring" and "motivational". They've been throwing the kitchen sink at the Indians, new riders evety year, but not even in the hunt. Hard to justify a factory team with those results. But flat-track without a factory team. Bart Markel just turned over in his grave.

I have always run C12 mixed 50/50 with unleaded pump gs in my yz's and have had great luck. It also helps the wallet from spending 75 every two weeks.

From his wife this morning. Hi everyone, I just wanted to give everybody a status update on John after losing a game of chicken with the trees on his dirt bike. He's overwhelmed by everyone's well wishes and support. He is battered and bruised in a lot of places. He is stable at the moment. I loved the old Grand National Series. They'd run 25 plus races so you'd have a fair number of the each of the 5 track types. In the mid to late 60s they ran basically the same engines in different frames. The 70s hit and the pure RR bikes appeared (TZs etc.) And it was cool for awhile but eventually forced the seperation. As far as the baggers go. Those types racing of racing start out one way but soon people are running such customized monsters they lose the original purpose.

Those Santa Clara races sucked. The track was short, and there was way too little dirt. Back then it was 20 lap mains....the race was over in 16 minutes. The stadium was REALLY nice though.
