I started riding Moto at age 27. I was a bigger guy when I started at 6ft 200 and everyone told me to get a 450. When I went down to a 250, my progress skyrocketed because i learned HOW to ride. I think the biggest thing I can say after some years now, (im 41) is my turns improved sooo much in carrying speed into the turn rather than trying to point and shoot. I was also less scared which I think mentally helped haha. Since then the 350's are awesome. Now that you are in, dont stress too...

This, all day. It’s more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow. Starting on a bike that has more power than you’re ready to deal with means riding intimidated and slow. That or you’re constantly wadding yourself up. Wringing the neck of an underpowered bike makes you feel like a hero that can handle anything it might throw at you. Builds the confidence that will help you move up to bigger and faster bikes.

Get the YZ125, ride Battery Park and have some fun!

I have no problems with the penalties but if you have that many red cross/red light jumping violations there is something systemic going on and it should be looked at internally to understand why.

I know everyone really wants to believe but I dont think Tomac has it. He reminds me of Valentino Rossi towards the end. You would still see flashes of the magic but the younger guys just kept getting better while he just kept getting older. Even if he recovers 100% and is still motivated I cant see him worrying Jett, Hunter, Deegan and Chase (provided he works out the Kawi and himself.) Id love to see it and watch him have one more big crack at it. But im struggling to see it.

You’re not wrong but you will get a massive amount of downvotes for saying anything positive about him. Deegan has intentionally polarized himself for clicks and attention. I really hope this isn’t the common strategy for future young talent.
