6/9/2023 8:40am Funny story from a conversation I had with Valentino Rossi. Back in my Parts Unlimited days I won a trip to Laguna Seca through an AGV sales contest. We got to spend lunch with Val on Thursday before the race. I asked him if he followed FIM MX or AMA MX or SX and if he had a favorite rider. This is what he had to say. You have to read this in his heavy Italian accent... "I like Ricky Carmichael. Ricky and I both raced for Honda and Honda tell us both that Honda wins the Championship not the...

6/9/2023 8:31am No way hope he never makes it. He'll be out there trying to clean the rest of his team out during qualifier races. Give me RJ, Bam on a 250 or pretty much anyone else. Personally I am not a fan of that whole Deegan camp.

6/9/2023 8:30am No he’s 17. Let him be a rookie and train and build his foundation. That would be a dumb distraction.

6/7/2023 6:59am I remember watching Mike Brown in his prime at Muddy Creek in the late 90's. We watched the pros between our motos. I stood thinking, "How the fk is he that fast!!!" No way anyone is going faster there than he did on a CR250 2 stroke. It was like a red blur going by on the sidelines. lol

6/7/2023 6:57am That's not how I remember it. They were ripping 20 years ago too. LaRoccos Leap was there too so they were hitting the jumps back then. Corner speed was just as fast back then on the two strokes. I remember them pounding the sand whoops at Millville pretty hard. My last pro national was in 1999 and after a long wait I visited Budds Creek in 2022 and I honestly didn't think much of it. Sure, they were faster but it's not like it was night and day. It looked very similar. Really I think main thing is the jumps...

6/2/2023 6:56am My wife and I will be in Rochester, MN on the weekend of July 15th, so she said she would go to the Springcreek National with me. It will be her first in her life. I'm excited to go and for her, but I'll have to explain to her why in the 450 class there is a rider, (maybe 2) that took the checkered flag, the race is over, we've walked a mile to our truck to leave, but still hear bikes on the track racing?? For that 3rd podium spot!!

6/2/2023 6:51am Herlings is still easing his way in , on hardpack I think both both chase and jett would hold there own , on them Dutch / Belgium sand tracks id bet my last dime he puts a minute plus on both of them , I’ve seen him do it to Ferrandis , I’ve seen him lap Blake baggett at lommel , people seriously underestimate how fast he is when he’s fit on them deep tracks

6/2/2023 6:50am It blows my mind that Herlings hasn't come to the US to race Supercross yet! I was skeptical at first of him racing Supercross, but then I saw how he tore up the Dutch version of Straight Rhythm on another post. That guy owned those 60ft tables at that local track like a beast. I think quite a few guys would be faking injuries if he decided to line up at A1 in 2024.

6/1/2023 11:45am Some of yall prob think McGrath would still win a National or a SX if he tried. Now granted, he did great in Vet Championship. But so would Reed and a few others if they tried.

6/1/2023 8:50am Only way a perfect season is possible is if the rider is a huge amount better than even the second best rider and also lucky to not have injuries or mechanical issues. Chase was only one second behind Jett after 35 minutes. Jett might beat him more often than not. But Chase will win some motos and overalls. Jett won't holeshot every moto.

6/1/2023 8:47am The top 6 would do fine overall In the GP’s with Gajser out and Herlings coming back with Prado fading every second moto I think Jett and Chase would be to hard to handle in the GP’s as it stands now. After the top 6 though due to injury I think the AMA field would have some serious problems.

6/1/2023 8:45am Herlings is presently the fastest guy in the world, and is still in rehabilitative mode. With no Gajser and Renaux in the mix, he easily wins the 2023 MXGP title. Yes, we all know he is not presently wearing the red plate, but he soon will be. The only way he doesn't win the title is by way of another injury. With Eli out in the States, Jett is the fastest guy over here, and he's just learning to ride the big bike. Chase, Dylan, AC, AP, 21 and 51 can give Jett some competition, but Jett clearly is either...
