But again, im from Merica, i dont care much about Euro's anyway. I just stated what i saw on the youtubes. Herlings is getting older and has won the shit out of everything for years. Even after a year off. Doubtful there has been anyone better in MX ....ever. 

Also, the youtubs jus told me Herlings won the Dutch masters of MX recently as well. Yet another win for the best ever. Even tho I would prefer it be an American that was the best ever at MX, Im just not so sure that will ever be the case. Jett is definitely off to a fast start. Just 125+ more MX wins to go!

Herlings is presently the fastest guy in the world, and is still in rehabilitative mode.

With no Gajser and Renaux in the mix, he easily wins the 2023 MXGP title. Yes, we all know he is not presently wearing the red plate, but he soon will be. The only way he doesn't win the title is by way of another injury.

With Eli out in the States, Jett is the fastest guy over here, and he's just learning to ride the big bike. Chase, Dylan, AC, AP, 21 and 51 can give Jett some competition, but Jett clearly is either the fastest or 2nd fastest guy on two wheels.

Anyone who says anything other than in the mix is nuts.  I think they can beat any of them, just as the top GP guys can beat anyone here now on a given day.

Rider by rider ranking is best done by weekly results, and they are good until the next race when everyone can argue about why the "fastest guy" who didn't win decided not to that weekend.

If Jett never went to the states, then I have no doubt he would’ve been wearing a red plate in the MXGP class right now.

Herlings seems to be taking it easy at the moment it's hard to judge but in full flight? Hard to comment on Jett but with the small sample size I would say the podium would be Chase, Jett and Herlings in no order most rounds, the US series has some great riders currently.

The top 6 would do fine overall In the GP’s with Gajser out and Herlings coming back with Prado fading every second moto I think Jett and Chase would be to hard to handle in the GP’s as it stands now. After the top 6 though due to injury I think the AMA field would have some serious problems. 

Jett and Chase would be competitive. I think Herlings, Prado and a healthy Gajser would consistently beat them but not always. We'd see some American and Aussie wins. 

JH was the fastest in 2021, but today he would have a hard time against Jett. Sexton is very fast on hardpack, so there he could win races.
And Prado is leading the championship (and the manche wins) not JH.

Tbh the only one i am a bit unsure about is Ferrandis if he had stayed in GP's since i think it really depends on what teams you land on and if you can stay injury free. He showed some flashes in MX2, and maybe my memory is wrong but i remember guys like Anstie & Guillod showing similar things and look where they are now. 

Herlings is still easing his way in , on hardpack I think both both chase and jett would hold there own , on them Dutch / Belgium sand tracks id bet my last dime he puts a minute plus on both of them , I’ve seen him do it to Ferrandis , I’ve seen him lap Blake baggett at lommel , people seriously underestimate how fast he is when he’s fit on them deep tracks

It blows my mind that Herlings hasn't come to the US to race Supercross yet! I was skeptical at first of him racing Supercross, but then I saw how he tore up the Dutch version of Straight Rhythm on another post. That guy owned those 60ft tables at that local track like a beast. I think quite a few guys would be faking injuries if he decided to line up at A1 in 2024.

Herlings is a beast but he only makes every third season in motocross, you think he would get through a whole season in supercross even when the "best supercross riders in the world" can't make it?

I think on most typical US style tracks, or even French hilly hard pack any of the top riders could win on their day, issue is US riders don’t ride the full range of conditions, so any AMA pro will be at a big disadvantage when a bottom less sand track comes around.

Would Jett & Chase even make top 5 at the Dutch Masters ? 

I’d bet good money on neither being in the top 3 last weekend at dutch masters , not because there not talented , because they don’t ride anything close to that deep 

Jett was pounding laps at Lommel no matter what conditions for multiple years until they came to the US and he also went 1-1 at 14 years at Assen during the EMX. I don't see how he wouldn't beat any rider in any condition on his day.

Winning the emx and getting close to herlings in deep sand track is light years apart 

Blake baggett was insanely fast on a 250 (loved watching him ride ) he finished 5th at mxon and herlings lapped him , next in line was Roczen if I remember right nearly 2 minutes behind 

…. On their feet I’m guessing .

Jett is the guy and that's all there is too it. He's just getting on the 450. He's 19 for Christ's sake. Nobody is going to stand a chance in the coming years.That goes for in the States or in Europe.  I'm partial to Sexton but it's just the way it is.
