I agree. Moving up is the best option. Continuing to pound laps in his comfort zone at the GOAT farm won't do much for him. Jump in at the deep end of the pool and figure things out. Getting gate drops is the only way he'll earn pro racing experience. The best part is that he'll mature, get stronger, and get better. Nothing to lose.

How is taking gate drops a mistake? He needs to race. It's the only way he's going to figure it out. Edit: Phil Nicolleti actually had a good take on this on Monday's Pulp show. I recommend the listen. Hell, he might have been the one to convince them!

Come on man.. WTF. When these riders are being interviewed right after the race, they basically have a script they are focused on. At times they are trying to condense a thousand thoughts at once while being interviewed. You really think he's not concerned about his mate? I'm sure every single rider who finished that main had a moment and thought about Dylan and had a lump in their throat. I'm happy Dylan should be ok. Hopefully his head is ok when he wakes up today. Such a great guy, competitor and important person in our sport.

ARay's LCQ was comical from a couch standpoint. Blew it in the sand just after moving to a transfer spot and blew it again when he was given a late christmas present in the last turn. Where is Craig’s skill at in 450? your question doesn’t make much sense to me. Craig was 250 champ last year and is now a 10-15 450 guy. Nothing unusual about what Anstie is doing other then he had a great day I’d say.

Anstie has been a world class rider for years. Sometimes it just takes the right combination of preparation, training, bike setup, feeling comfortable, having things outside of racing in a good spot, etc in a good spot so you can perform your best on Saturday.

I am a fan of Haiden Deegan and the Deegan family. In my book, he's a good kid, who's taken the opportunities given to him and put in the work, for a long, long time. I wish him, and the rest of the up and comers a great career. I also like the way Brian and Marissa are parenting their kids, giving them every advantage they can to succeed. Isn't that what we all do? I don't understand how people can go so negative on a 17 year old.

This thread blows !! why do so many Deegan threads keep popping up with ridiculous accusations/ predictions ? Deegan is going to be just fine, he will make lots of money racing a dirt bike for a living. Daxton will be great too, but why are so many already talking shit on Deegan after one amateur SX race ?
