Anderson was directly behind them and said it was not Kenny’s fault, you can see the lapper drift over. In the moment it appeared that Kenny had more than enough room to go between the riders. Should he have waited? Sure, but he didn’t, and an unfortunate event happened, but I wouldn’t put 100% of the blame on Kenny. Webb and Ando said it best on the press conference, the lappers need to stop racing eachother when the blue flag comes out and let the leaders go by first.

Mookie was smoking everybody in the whoops. You give a 1.5 second advantage per lap to any of 10 riders in 450s and they win too….but they didn’t have it and Mookie did! It was awesome to watch! btw…I wish I could choke like Chase and have an SX and MX championship as well as the red plate right now. I am super glad Mookie won!! That was one of the top things I wanted to see…but who has gone down more? Chase will be fine but the whoops bit him tonight. Not the only rider…and he walked away healthy...

I think its "insulting" to the listener base of a "core" moto show to assume they don't know basic things about the topic that is probably the most prevalent thing in their lives, yes. For the record, I like keefer. He is helpful with bike setup stuff and i've listened to a number of his pods, this in particular though just caught my attention bc he repeated it multiple times in a short span of time and it comes of as elitist and extremely cringey. He has a tendency to do this, I've caught it before.

I’ve also noticed if you really want his opinion on a particular bike you have to wait until it is the previous generation. I can’t think of a specific example off the top of my head but there have been a few times where he will say bike so and so is good. That is until a new gen bike comes out then it’s oh that previous generation was shit and blew up all the time.

I think most people don't like being assumed they are stupid or that they are not capable of understanding the most elementary of things. Even if it is true. The major mx/sx media folks are getting more and more comfortable doing this. It is that simple.
