As I’ve also previously stated in this thread, triumph does not seem to have auto review for denied warranty claims. Hence why warranty claim denied, dealer says they’re SOL and if they don’t push beyond standard warranty, again something a good dealer should do for their customer, then the customer just thinks that Triumph is outright denying it. Whereas good dealerships (again, there’s dozens of examples with Triumph regarding off-road), push the issue beyond standard warranty claim and get the repair covered. Well considering I was a service Manager for Ford I have a bit of a clue on this issue. Keep looking foolish instead of just admitting you made a idiotic comment, and got called out on it. In this instance, parts that were replaced before warranty are not going to be covered by OEM. If the part has not been replaced they will replace the part for no charge. Denied claims can be reviewed again by risk management team.

Chase was a couple of brain-fades away from the SX championship this year. Somebody sitting out due to injury is on them; he got his first SX championship being in it to win it when Eli tore his achilles. There were several races where he "tucked the front end" or worse - but got up to finish well enough. Eli, Jett have had their weird days and crashes, and yes, Chase has more of them. EVERYBODY will be 2nd best (or worse) to Jett. Few people have beat him, and Chase is one of them.

I don't think you're being a hater. He's heading into his sixth year in the 450 class. There's enough data to show that you'll more than likely be correct. I also don't think the other bikes were holding him back, and I don't think the Kawasaki will be magically better. At this point, we've all seen what he can do.

On Pulp last night, Chase said that he did tell Kawie that he wanted to race MXON in the future and apparently they are fine with that. Can you imagine the blowback if they didn't support Chase to attend MXON?

I'm the only one in this thread that said a 450 felt down on power. Specifically the Beta 450. Imagine a 125 that goes 35mph in 1st gear, it's fast but it will also feel down on power most of the time. The Beta didn't have great torque for pulling out of corners, took a second to wind up to get into the meat of the power in each gear. It doesn't have good overrev, so riding down a gear wasn't working either. I felt it made the bike difficult to steer with the throttle and recover if I lost...

It's really hard to beat the Michelins for a do it all tire. I run the Starcross 6 medium/soft in rocks, mud, hard pack, loam.. you name it. It's pretty damn good in everything and predictable. They last a long time too and work great even when you lose the edge. I just tossed on the new Enduro 2 on the front as I really loved the original version and have heard good things about it.
