If you only knew the conditions 70% or more of these riders train in. Training in Florida, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, easily top what we saw at Hangtown. I get that they can take a break, but we all know they train doing at least 30 minutes plus in tougher conditions

Oh my bad. I didn't see the forecast, but since Hymas and other guys were on ice vests I assumed it was pretty hot.

Taking a digger like that when it is hot as hell knocks the wind out of you, it didn't look like much on the broadcast, but can tell it was a tough hit (also keep in mind these guys are going twice the speed of us mere mortals). I hope he is okay, and we can see him again next weekend.

Can't really answer that question based upon the fact that we don't know what the contract is that "every other track" has signed. We can only negotiate in good faith with MXS based upon the contract terms that were presented to us.

Bud comes off as a bitter old man that is hung up on DMG winning the bid for amapro in 2009 and leasing the rights to the Coombs. One of the things I've always appreciated about MXA is how well written it is, unlike some other moto publications/sites that read like they're put together by middle schoolers (at best). Jody has a PhD and it shows in the spelling, grammar, subject matter and writing style, along with his scientific method/analytical/logical approach to testing. You could always tell it was the finished product of an educated, polished pro. However, I don't know who they turned the web site over to years ago but it has been horrendous. Between the spelling, grammar, typos, misspelled names of top pros, factual inaccuracies...

Hunter has been off the podium in only 1 moto, and it was a 4th. He has been getting great starts. I think Chase has a slight edge in fitness and top end speed, but I think he also has the higher likelihood of a costly tip-over or bad start. So I think I’m leaning Hunter just for consistency, but wouldn’t be shocked if Chase wins. I think it will ultimately be a really close battle to the end.

If you ignore RC saying “yelling at his mechanic” and watch and listen then he doesn’t act or sound pissed at the mechanic. It looks like he was asked a question and points over to the bike and says something. If you have ever been to a race then you can’t communicate without raising your voice with all the bike noise. I watched the walk by his mechanic multiple times and I think Chase is hurt and bummed….but if RC doesn’t make that comment and put that thought in your head…. you just see a bummed rider but nothing to...
