I had it happen on the yamaha. At first i was like geez i need to ride more, my ass is already chaffed. Then it got to the point where i realized what was going on but it was too late……..

deegan should do the pala round to see how he stacks up to some of the top 250 450 riders .hell he might surprise a couple people ....if he doesnt win he would atleast know where he is and what he needs to work on ..you never know like i said he could either get alot more people talking about how good he is or it might shut alot of people up about this deegan vs ryder d thing..i think people making rivalrys between riders is great for the sport especially between two kids that should go along way in...

Who else caught that? Cooper said they changed the frame during the week and that "Ian and Roger were possibly going to murder me over it". So, what do we think? Are they tailoring custom frames for their riders? Did he misspeak and mean just a generic chassis change? Personally, I'd be surprised if most of the factories weren't tweaking the frames for their riders, and it would be especially easy to hide on a steel frame. I don't really care if they use different thicknesses/angles in certain areas, because they still have to race the damn thing. I'm not...

I had a 92 DR350 a few years ago that I bought for $1200, had the local guy do the suspension for another 400, loved it. I use to run with all the new KTMs.

I was in need of e-start due to a trashed knee, after 4 250sx models I picked up a 2020 250xc. Great for trail riding, but I hated it on the track or even gravel road ripping here on the coast. I installed an RK head, flashed the ECU and adjusted the PV, still sucked. I found you had to shift it like a 125 to make it work for moto, there is a big dead spot in the mid, if you don't shift the power doesn't come on fast enough. I have a 21 300 XC TPI and a 21 KX450. I've done a bit of moto on the 300 TPI but generally prefer the KX on the track and keep the 300 for singletrack stuff. That being said, the 300 does pretty well on the track. Suspension is soft, you can make it okay with clickers but if you're full time moto, I would recommend a revalve. Many folks are quick to run a different head, ECU or do an injector relocation kit, but I've found the power to be just fine. If I did more moto on the...

I have a 22 300XC, 5 hours so far just track use. I put a pipe and did the kyb sss conversion. Great bike, previous bikes were 21 350 and 18 TC250. I just got the injector relocation kit, but have yet to install it (not sure if I will). Awesome bike!

Every bike with a Keihin FCR (generation wise) would be ok imo. EFI is perfect but a Keihin is already pretty good.

I have owned several KTM dual sports and they are all good. The newer the generation, the better, IMO. ‘07 EXC525 (first year of street legal) ‘09 EXC 530 (2nd year of next generation) ‘14 EXC 500 (much better than previous) ‘17 EXC 500 (even better than the ‘14, much lighter as well) ‘20 EXC 500 (best yet version) All these were 510cc, regardless of their model (525/ 530 / 500) The ‘17+ really needs a vortex ignition and a pipe to get the most out of the bike. No I have a ‘21 yz250f for moto. Just looking for something to go explore on. Yes looking around $5-6k max as just seeing if something I like and not a huge amount of trails near me

8/28/2021 5:58am It would would be worth waiting for the '23's. TBI coming. TM makes a 300 track bike with FI. Beta makes one with a carb.
