You have been receiving some great information. The PC pipe and shorty silencer were used in supercross and they experimented with different pipes outdoors. Eraldo loved the Sletchen pipe with stock silencer setup which broadened the powerband and made it great for outdoor Mx. I don't want to tease then leave you hanging but I believe I have a extra, great condition Sletchen pipe and maybe a 2C pipe. I may have a extra titanium subframe and N-Style graphics also plus other items. I have a open house at my garage each year the first week of October. I've been...

ama205 wrote. "Put a National in Florida at the end of the series when it cools down”. Why must we wait until the Supercross series is over to start the AMA Outdoor Nationals? Who made that decision? In the 1980's and 1990's you had the Atlanta Supercross, the Gainesville Outdoor National, and the Daytona Supercross in THREE consecutive weekends. Top 4 states motocross bike sales should dictate races in CA, TX, PA and FL.

I think homologation rule is more about keeping big motorcycle manufacturers cartel alive than cutting cost of racing nowadays. For example with current technologies available it's relatively easy to manufacture chassis that looks similar to stock frame on the outside but material thickness could be thinner in less critical parts of the frame. Same goes with the engine cases etc... Those who have enough money and resources can easily bend the rules with out getting caught Just look at the GP bikes. There's no production rule in GP's but European factory bikes are still quite similar compared to US factory...

Within all of this bickering, I'd (like) to think most here would support a reduction in homologation numbers required for smaller manufacturers to be able to compete in the US Nationals. And, a lesser homologation fee. That would enable, perhaps (well probably) not a Big Rig equipped Team, but, perhaps 'Box Van' level teams. And, give smaller teams / privateers an option. As ever, DC & Co hold the key to this - well, maybe the Big manufacturers really do, we see it with Equivalency being blocked. The standard reply from the AMA on rules and regulations, it's been seen...

I didn’t say that washugal wasn’t a haul, where are you getting that I said that? My point is for a southeastern national, something central to the southeast would make a lot of sense. Florida isn’t accessible in any direction without having to drive through another southeastern state anyway. I think south central AL or northern FL makes a lot of sense. The drive from the north end of FL to the South end of FL is almost twice that of Washington State. There’s people in Alabama (southerners) that are closer to Bed Bud than they are Orlando. For being...

I really don’t have an issue as long as they stick to one region…TBH I still believe that an EMX type class is really what’s needed for US MX and that this combine does not in anyway help close the gap with the GP program of developing riders….an “invited” group of amateurs at two regions after everything is said and done is really only two 25 min motos plus two laps. Now if next year they somehow turn this into a series of regional races and crown a champion they may be on to something….otherwise it gets a big “meh”...

Sometimes I feel like a squirrel planting acorns, and forgetting where. I do like TT because it prompts you when someone responds or likes etc. Guy B seems to have laid the ground work to bring some changes here as well. As far as the Sachs forks and alleged reliability that you refer to, I again remind you of 6...

The end of the nationals is end of August typically…Aug, Sept are much hotter than May, June in FL Isolated? Pretty much everywhere in FL is within an hour from a major international airport…. Quite a haul? And Washougal and Unadilla aren’t? Majority of the riders are already in FL…
