Todays Update: This is Michael's family. Michael continues to be slowly improve. He is out of the ICU and has been moved to a long term hospital. He can open his eyes and moves his right hand. Other than that he still doesn't speak or move around. His doctors say he can have visitors. Please text us if you would like more info about visiting him.

No updates. I’ve been trying to give family space. I was texting everyday for an update but have now moved to once a week. I didn’t receive a response for almost 2 weeks. Michael is one tough guy! This past year he has got into hiking and peaked some local mountain tops. Including his latest one cactus to clouds which is a 20 mile hike. If anyone knows how to push himself physically and mentally its him 💪🏽

Tate did a great job, he might have some great resources, but so do a lot of these Aussie kids. There are two kids out there my Son races against, they finished 7th and 10th tonight, Tate in 15th so not to far off them, but I know how talented those two kids are so for Tate to be where he is with very little racing is in my eyes still impressive. I have a cold, but i’m up at 12:16 am California time to hopefully watch Tate race soon. Been following their youtube for about a year now. I hope this is a learning experience for him and how he may need to be going faster than he is. I see Tate Reed vs Levi Townley battling for years to come.

He qualified 16th or 17th then finished 10th in his heat, good results, its not an easy field. There are a lot of good quick kids who can race SX in Aus, its crazy following how many have SX tracks to train on.

I agree, Kullas truly is a world class rider. The pace difference yesterday between him and all the rest was pretty remarkable. On top of that he is a great starter and his race IQ is super high. I have a feeling that we are going to see Kullas in U.S. full time in the future. He is in a good spot right now though, he is making a decent living racing the "lesser" series and races, so I also understand that side as well.

Kullas dominated the first night. Kullas should try a full year off racing in the US. He would/could be a main event guy in SX and close or in the top 10 on outdoors as he proved himself this year. In my eyes he is to good to “race” around in local series.
