I hate to say this but….stay in shape and wait for one to a few SX races into the season and history tells us there will be a factory bike without a rider due to injury. Despite what some say here he is still a top 5 MX 450 rider and maybe a SX podium on the right night. Since the cost of the team and support is mostly already spent/committed, a team would be just plain stupid to not pick up rider of Dylan’s level for basically just the cost of the rider. DV's posts are absolute fucking gold. No ass kissing but the level of understanding and knowledge is so deep but still to the point that it's always a great read. Also agree with people that Dylan could still do some damage outdoors and who knows how he could progress with more hours in 450 SX.

While I wonder if DF is a difficult rider, I don't think he is lazy or not putting the work in. He seems highly motivated and gets back in shape after setbacks. I wonder if it is just a cultural difference that makes it a harder fit. It is not necessarily a right and wrong situation, if he was on a french team he might fit in fine and they would understand his point of view from there lens on the world. But in the US it might not translate correctly. But I do think Dylan is a hard worker...

Let’s get some stuff straight because you’re losing yourself. 1. I’m my own boss. If a MX coach acts like the rider is the boss, the relationship will last but the results won’t come. I think you might be on to something. He even had a hard time getting along with his French riding coach at times and DV may be considered a opinionated person at times. So yes people may be done with him when he hasn't done anything lately. By the way I enjoy listening to both Dylan and DV but not sure I would want to put up with them daily.

I’m the guy who posted those images of Rusty that I took. That was a bunch of years ago with the helmet painting. I miss the friendships most and not so much the painting. The work I was doing the last couple years is what I was the most proud of. So I’m here on the forum doing restores. Only custom painting I do these days is Cerakote for bike parts and some gun stuff. Amazing some of you remember my name.

I have bigger fears in the world, but im scared for the oil filter, air filter, exhaust, piston, and general aftermarket companies over the next 20 years. What say y'all?

Every time I see any thread related to electric bikes I can 100% guarantee by the time I've opened it you will have posted, complained, and tried to shun it as much as possible. Kind of like a broken record.
