Yeah, I hit the tracks here with a couple groups and each one is old farts to a couple college kids. We all wired wrong! I sure miss my VC days, being so close to MTB and great weather. Close enough to Mojave dez after some rains and Hungry Valley with 70 mile loops in the Nat forest. Never take it for granted, not many places like it.

Saticoy bridge, Oxnard side, on the South side, next to the bridge. Take a look at some older google earth images, 10/2016 in the History icon. I made a pretty long turn track with minor elevation changes. I used every square inch of that spot. It would take no time to break it back in. I worked in a lot of options, so alternatives from one lap to the next. When you see the Sat image, it defo would take some time to work out your own flow. At the end of N. Vineyard(T). 2/19/2025 6:58pm Sounds like monster jam? Or F1? I don't think that model would be great for our sport, I agree with you, we need privateers. Win on Sunday(Saterday), sell on Monday(or tuesday?) Take away the privateers and you kill the sport. Better to add some incentive for them to keep grinding.

I get some of the worry, this is big boy stuff. All these things (motorcycles, cars, boats) are tools. You better respect them and do it right. A little history, I used to race OTHG in late 90’s / early-mid 2000’s, got up to 38 Expert and was a consistent top 5 finisher. I loved the sand and had my best of a 3rd overall at a OTHG National in Fernely, NV in 2006. 450 and 250 full seasons together. 100cc to 125cc east and west coast pro-am series. Let them learn how to ride. No 20k factory suspension, no 15k engines. Claiming rules of say, 10k.
