As a cycling nut, I can easily see the allure of a boutique brand. In so many forms of motorsports, things with wheels and other hobby sports...there are brands that are unique and cause you to turn your head a second time. In motocross we don't have very many of these brands but in this case, the TM MX 250 Fi fits the bill. Honestly, this test was my first time ever even throwing a leg over one of their bikes so I tried to come in with an open mind but a lot of questions were in my head...

Cool to see man, thanks ML. Any boutique brand who muster the necessary balls it takes to build a totally modern 4 stroke powerplant, that could serve double duty in a full on Moto3 bike damn near, from scratch is pretty sweet.

If nothing else, at least its aesthetics are on point. It looks so awesome, but I think it goes beyond skin deep with this one. It should be a perfect replacement for the previous version. Compare this bike to what occupied this segment in Honda's line up 15 years ago; the XR400R. I had one, and I loved it, but bikes have progressed so much. Fun times.

Yeeesss, the current gen front fender works perfectly with that gen CR. I never could quite come to grips with the previous 2 gen fronts on the CR 2 strokes. Great job man.

It was cool seeing Glenn ride so good. I'm just strugglin to understand why Tomac rode the 2019 bike. Of course, I guess if he would have ridden the 2018 bike and finished in the same positions, I probably would have wondered why he didn't ride the 2019. Oh well, I'm just so bummed with the outcome, and trying to make some kind of sense of it all.
