The manual says to start at 122psi. Racetech says 143. I set it to 143, guess I’ll see how that is. I thought about the shock being too soft but it’s set up right besides clicker adjustments. Correct spring rate, sag at 103mm and static sag right where ... more »

Been fighting my front fork a little bit. Just trying to get some recommendations from you all. If I slap the front end down it feels extremely harsh, almost like it binds. Going to throw an o-ring on tonight to see how much travel I'm actually using. ... more »

Got the bike back together and did one heat cycle last night. All is good so far. Didnt ride it yet but the squeal and neutral lurching forward is gone. I think when i parts washed the transmission, all the oil was washed away, and i didnt do a good ... more »

I think you’re right. I’m going to throw everything back together and make sure I torque it to spec. I did check the transmission and everything is installed correctly with no missing pieces and it all spins and moves as it should. I need to make sure ... more »

Discoloring as in surface finish was different. One side was smooth and the other side had an imprint almost. Didn’t catch my nail or feel it but you could see it. I did impact it on out of laziness so maybe that’s it. I’m just speculating at this point. ... more »

Added reply in a thread New Bottom End Rebuild - Squealing and bike wants to go forward in neutral 1/9/2020 5:23 PM

Yes. I split cases and everything was assembled correctly. 0 signs of rubbing to cause a squeal. 2 transmission bearings didn’t feel 100% smooth but could have been some grime from assembly. I’m going to replace them. Everything else felt good. One thing ... more »

I’m going to split the cases and recheck the transmission assembly. I zip tied it when I took it out so I didn’t mess the order and orientation up. It’s odd, I toured Everything to spec too

Its a 2stroke, 2007 CR125. I checked I had sufficient oil in the case, maybe 50cc low due to plates soaking in oil. Someone mentioned a washer, but I swore I got that on the shaft before I stuck them through the case, plus I ziptied the transmission ... more »
