Must haves: Jet the mikuni using AJs thread as a starting point. Best bang for your buck at less than $100. Suspension set up for you - bolt ons dont make you more confident riding. Nice to haves: I tried living with the ktm throttle body (i have 2019, not sure if yours went to roller design) but i swapped...

Lol no it is a 17.5. I have no clue why i needed to go that low, i actually posted the question in the jetting forum and dont think i got a response. I have the exact setup per the jetting thread, float is dead nuts on, jet block gasket replaced, even needle valve and oring replaced but i was...

Hey Guys. Had my lower rod bearing go on my this weekend. Unfortunately it was on lap 3 of the day, but fortunately it didn't go on the face of a jump. Bottom end has about 130ish hours on it, is this a typical duration out of a crank? It did fail going up a fresh prepped hill where i...

I run 1 up in rear from stock gearing on my 150sx. I bought stock gearing but i am hesitant to go back, maybe on more wide open tracks ill use it, was just looking for a little more top end. Even with Lynks doing my top end, i feel like i would be banging the clutch extremely hard to...

I have a 2007 CR125 with gorrs 144 kit. Not sure how to tell what port job he did on it besides asking him. You’ll be able to tell when you ride it though. I had him port for top and the bottom was gone, I actually sent it back for the mo betta. He uses a proprietary piston from...

I have a 19 150. Not sure on the 22s but there is no head gasket, they’re just orings so can’t change compression unless head is modded or you change base gasket. There is a ktm jetting thread on here, use AJ’s specs, no need for an airStryker, bike runs awesome after you dial it in. I run a 49...

Personally wouldn’t put a red spring in my bike. It would be way too tiring and hard to control. I’ve found like 1.75-2 turns in is good for me. I’ve tried riding the bike with the PV screw all the way out and it’s way too hard to control and tired me out pretty quick. I’ve seen two people talk...

Sent my 2019 top end to Lynks. Totally different bike. I had complaints of the 150 signing off if you tried to over rev it like a 125. Sent it to him and it’s unreal now. Used the ktm jetting thread from here, changed slide and needle and made a noticeable difference when I did that as well. My bike...

tsmitty2661 Added a reply to 125/150/250/300 KTM/HUS/GG jetting thread

I notched the slide per diggers recommendations. 5/32 chainsaw file 4mm deep. Also the top end has been ported and polished by lynks and the spec sheet he sent me said c12 so the gas shouldn’t be the issue. I want to check my needle valve and float height again today. Maybe it’s bleeding through and flooding the engine. Noticed...

Yes jet block gasket has been replaced, and float height was set at 8-8.5mm. From my experience, when the pilot is too small the bike would scream when kicked over; I'm having to clear it out when kicked over.

Hey guys need some help or ideas... I have a 2019 KTM 150sx. I am running the suggested jetting from the first page. Maxima Super M mixed 40:1 with VP110. 5.0 slide is notched as well. The bike rips when out on the track and no complaints but I'm having some starting issues which is very frustrating. Ive dropped from...

I bought a 2019 KTM150sx. I love it, and im coming off a 2007 cr125 that was recently converted to a 144. I had one, well two, complaints with it. The 150 signed off on the top end if you tried to over rev it. I cant speak to the 125 but from my experience with the CR the 144...

I didnt want to make my post about money, however it does play a major factor. Look on glassdoor and see some average salaries for companies youd like to work for. As others have said its not on par with other industries, primarily due to market size. After you see that, take into account where these places are located. As...

I am going to be straight with you, and anyone else reading....you don't want to work here. The vision is all candy and rainbows. Moto all day, tearing it up, party all night like rockstars...or some similar crap. At first, it seems glamorous, but then, it's just a job. It's the same grind as any other grind. There's no moto all day, there's no party like a rockstar. Hell, there isn't even a party or a rockstar. Pay is low, at almost every level. People talk about rider's pay being low, I can tell you that across every spectrum of...
