Perhaps, it is because people care about this sport and the tv production is how eyeballs are placed on it. Bondo sucks, plain and simple and has for a long long time. Each time someone poses a question for the production team it is met with BS and a snooty attitude. If you don't like the complaining don't click, if your happy you have nothing to fix. But for a lot of us, this is a childs production, ran by a bunch of buddies who suck at what they do

I'm not here to jam anybody or call out the evil capitalists, but I fully agree with the one word title, We have a dramatic sport here that this production company takes and makes it almost impossible to watch.

I will agree with you that it helps the non moto person find the riders relatable but, it would make more sense if they show this at the beginning before a race and then the person would say “oh I will stick around to watch to see how that fisherman does”. Otherwise if someone is already watching the race, you already have their attention. No need to ruin the race for the real dedicated fans.

The first 250 main had to be the most comical thing I have seen in awhile. The last 2 laps Vialle and Thrasher are closing in on RJ and they are taking about shit other then racing. I mean what are they looking at on the actual monitors ? The human interest stories is talked about more on these broadcast then I have ever seen.

I was watching with my dad and when the pictures of mookie holding up the fish came up as mookie was moving fwd in the race I said how stupid of a time it is to put that up mid race. If they really need to show that do it between races. Were here to watch racing, when the race is happening stick to showing the racing on screen. Were not watching this for the fish pics.

A lot of times the broadcast seems like it is about itself and the racing is secondary. I usually watch on mute because the commentary is so distracting, but there isn't any getting around all the stupid picture in picture stuff they're doing.

The state of the broadcast is an absolute embarrassment. The sport is in a bad place because of it. Leigh Duffy and RC are shameful announcers. Pretty shocking that Feld is getting away with taking almost all the profits and at the same time giving the fans such pathetic garbage announcers.

It is bad, but unprofessional is probably not the most fitting word. The problem is they have midweek production meetings where they decide on talking points and what to put in the broadcast, including side stories to show during the racing. Facepalm. So whoever is making these decisions, and they’ve been following the same bad format for years, is directing whoever’s in the booth to talk about these things. Diffey and RC are being professional by following that direction, but the direction sux!

Halfway through the 450 race 2, Diffey is talking about Mookie racing for gas money for his boat. They then proceed to show Instagram photo of mookie fishing, during the race. No other Motorsport would do this during the race. Its so embarrassingly unprofessional. They say they cater to new Moto fans or the the casual fan but my friend who casually watching sx told me the commentary turns him off from watching more than 5 minutes at a time. The commentary work is the most unprofessional of any motor racing. Only one who deserves a job is JT.
