I’ve been a fan of his racing while mostly ignoring the ‘noise’ that he creates, but tonight he proved that he simply has no character at all. To be honest, his attempts were so blatant that I wish the AMA would suspend him for the first 3 races next season.

You're full of it. Ive watched women's for years and your local b class isn't smoking the top 5. The top guys in b at lorettas yes. Pretty ignorant statement when some of these girls actually also race the B class at lorettas. Jordan has raced pro nationals and she's probably around the 4th fastest girl. This field is so much better and more talented than the Patterson days.

The gate had 16 riders. The top 5 all sent the biggest jump on the track. Many of the SMX / combine riders didn’t. I agree there is a delta between the top of that grid and the back but that’s racing. I’m not becoming less interested because someone riding at the back half of the field is being beat by your son.

Until your a mechanic or a rider that has been there and know what it is really like then you are doing the same thing. Arm chair quaterbacking. The production sucks, if you think it is ok then cool. But when you see the stupidity behind it all and actually understand the sport and have been around, you do not accept this piece of garbage they package. The production is and always will be at fault. James and Weege can only polish a turd so much, and when they are not announcing and you have an evening of mud racing...

Does not change the production. Hard to spot riders is one thing, week after week we have inexcusable idiotic mistakes. The production is stale and boring, the stories they try to paint are stupid, get into the grit and detail that our sport offers. Not the traditional, roll off/tear off debate for the last 25 years. Get rid of the awful music they try and use as background noise, and use the environment and allow a little quiet to build up. So many things need changed and it starts with BONDO. No more excuses, it is time for change that...

just watched the replay this morning. Yeesh. It wasn't even a "race" - it was 3 hours of just watching random riders roll around, RC had no idea who was in what position, no discussion of the points implications, agonizing minutes-long shots of watching riders trying to pick up their bikes and then ends with RC screaming "Wait - Webb beat Sexton? I had no idea! WOW!" - um, it's your JOB to know these things. It felt like watching some weird 1997 ESPN2 broadcast of lawnmower racing.

Everyone gets so hung up on the commentary, but it doesn’t matter who’s in the box, the production is shit. That’s the origin of all the other issues.

That’s why you should have someone who knows the sport inside and out to fill the gaps instead of having the main announcer saying he’s reading texts from people about how “cRaZy” these guys are and let a seemingly barely conscious RC take the wheel.

Ricky stating that they needed to shorten the timed race because lap times were so long was the highlight for me.
