When tracks hit the $40 dollar entry fee as a single guy it was kind of shocking but then look at all the variables you’ve all mentioned and it makes since. These are business’s not charities. I used gas as a metric more so. Diesel is down too. What I’m trying to say is that for regular dudes the juice isn’t worth the squeeze often times. If prices rise your clientele does too. Ferrari doesn’t have tons of dealers because not many can afford it and our sport is going the same way. You can defend the tracks and call me broke if you want - but guess what? Neither of us will be riding.

Instead of moto, look for public riding areas and hit some trails. Usually under $10, some are free.

Sorry to poach thread. My air cooled rm’s love leaded fuel. And I run it in all my 2 strokes. Sunoco 110 My question is does an air cooled 4stroke like leaded fuel? Not necessarily the high octane. Or for performance. Just good quality leaded fuel

I get that that is the general vibe around the Hills. And some of their past validates that But, Justin finished 8th in the most prestigious dirtbike series in the world and was the second highest non-factory rider. If you think that's possible without full dedication, then youre crazy..

I still say kawi and pc made a stupid decision putting him on a 250. They grabbed him when he was doing really well on his privateer 450. Shoulda kept him on a 450 and theyd have a solid dude.

I want the guy to succeed but where there is smoke there is fire. Either him or his family are shady or hard to work with.

Select SX races and then outdoors for him and playoffs. Seems the best route for him on his own program.

Sounds like he’s taking a chance on himself. Kind of surprised that he doesn’t have at least a smaller team option. But he’s good on a 450, just troubled by the depth of the class right now. And not sure he should be messing with SX. Focus on outdoors and get the bike right, the conditioning right, his head right and some confidence built up and see what he can do.

2024 a first overall and a second overall at Ironman and red budd on the 250. Then finished 2025 with a 4 and 5th overall in SMX. Thats legit. No accident he finished that high… He’s finished in the top 10 in a lot of races… Still fairly young… Its worth the gamble to take a chance on him.

I run Sunoco 110 in my yz450f.

I used sunoco 110 for 2/3 years with zero issues and did notice a power/responsiveness gain in both a 450 and 250, both stock and with mild engine mods. If you want to show me why its not good im all for learning more. But being a dick and saying im wrong with nothing to back that up is uncalled for. End of the day ive had a great experience with that gas and since hes looking for sunoco specifically, i mentioned it.

Sunoco 110 is pretty good. Used it for a while in both of my kawis.

69 had several yz 125s in my days latest 2014. Nothing more fun than a 125 WFO.
