As long as the piston is in the right way in the bore, checked the end gap during assembly, you're probably fine. Was the plating matched to the piston? Did you check the piston:bore clearance?

Reposting - I took the original ad down because someone was coming to buy the bike but stopped responding on the day they were supposed to come pick it up. 2023 Kawasaki KX 450SR with 17 hours. New chain, tires and wheels have never been used, carbon chain guide, and Ti pegs. Located in the DFW area.

Things have started off significantly better with Kawasaki than they did with KTM for Chase. I still stand by what I said that this will be the best version of Chase that we see.

I will never understand this take. Somehow Chase was able to make it to all the races while the others were too injured to even make it to the starting line. How does anyone other than Chase deserve those titles?

Putting Chase on the most stable and predictable chassis will certainly help even him out. I don't for one second believe that the KX isn't capable of winning Championships. Chase riding at 97% instead of 100% pace on a stable bike, paired with him in a better head space, that's the perfect recipe.

You are living under a rock. Tomac was running KYB forks and shock on his bike when Showa is Kawasaki’s team sponsor. The rumor that Kawasaki does not try new stuff is BS.

Dave Simmonds and Kork Ballington would like a word… Then in WSB, Scott Russell, Jonny Rae & Tom Sykes are all world champions. WSS… they have a few world championships in that class also.

I guess everyone but Jett should just retire based on most of you Vitards. Riders suck if they are not Jett. No room for second place . Guess Windham just sucked and had a bad career. No one can make a living any more unless you beat Jett
