Cooksey likes being involved, he got his wish.

In my humble and ignorant knowledge of riding a dirt bike at any level, he needs to stop searching for answers in the bike and just ride. He doesn't need to be the fastest every night or win every race. I suspect he sees this potential high water mark and seeks it every night rather than taking what he can get. It's like he expects the bike to be perfect all the time rather than thinking "how can I make up for what the bike lacks". I'll repeat the sentiment that happens every year. Triple crowns rule, fans like them, riders hate them. Having a few scattered throughout the year is the right choice.

I thought that was a pretty cool clip with those two and the track builders. I like seeing the behind the scenes stuff and the different riders interacting with each other.

I've openly said he's a dime bag, still strongly believe so. And while some will argue the move was 100% intentional while the nut huggers will scream it wasn't, I actually think it wasn't too bad all things considered. Necessary however? Absolutely not. The problem is the common denominator and history. He always does this, over and over again. So regardless of whether it truly was intentional or not, history suggests that it indeed was to a degree. Regardless, the outcome is Deegan red plate, and Anstie losing points that he really shouldn't have.

These posts made me chuckle. The quote thing for me is that racing is like most things in life, history repeating itself or at least rhyming. I like to draw parallels between things that seem completely unrelated. Maybe it doesn’t always work but it’s fun for me to try. On the hair, I get it. I know many don’t like it and that’s ok.

I was so happy when I saw he was already home and recovering. I thought it would be worse and feared that, at best, it would be his last race. That split second decision to tuck and land on his back likely saved his spine. One tough SOB. Every single one of them who watched that happen and just lined back up is so mentally tough.

First of all I'm so happy he's ok. That was super scary to watch and it's almost unbelievable that he's not really injured from that. As far as an inflating collar around the neck you actually wouldn't want that. I've done a fair amount of training on Tech Air over the years and early on in development by both Alpinestars and Dainese they tested it and it actually could cause more of an injury.
