JT appears to have had some good learning lessons in the art of wordsmithing!  Was he home schooled or did he go to public school?

But, he does need to read this thread on the air on Pulp tomorrow…because, he’ll laugh his ass off and have classic JT$ responses.

Is that in reference to when JT was on a Suzuki ( I think) and James ran up the back of his leg, and did JT$ Knee in?

Hey, there's Far More To Life Than Just Bikes, guys.

I'm off to 'Hamlet Camp' - a show with 3 noted OZ actors about playing Hamlet - on Wednesday, 2 weeks ago I went to King Lear, a week before that, saw 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf?' And, many more last year. I attend various performances most months at The Sydney Opera House, that's why I put up so many pictures of the Harbour Bridge / The Harbour/  The Opera House here.

I Do like turning up at 'swish' venues in just my Blue Collar Work Clothes, or my Leathers / Waterproofs. I get reactions from that at times, but the 'swish' venues and many of my fellow Thespians, are used to it - and, it 'educates' some of them to think differently about the ' Hoi Polloi '.......

These posts made me chuckle. The quote thing for me is that racing is like most things in life, history repeating itself or at least rhyming. I like to draw parallels between things that seem completely unrelated. Maybe it doesn’t always work but it’s fun for me to try.

On the hair, I get it. I know many don’t like it and that’s ok.

It's the exact opposite of my Charlie Brown hair cut. If I were you, I'd grow it out longer, dye it brown, and twirl it around like a turd. Then, dare Webb to call you 'shit head' on TV. You know he couldn't stop himself. It would be epic!

So, if Hemingway wrote about SX/MX, here is what it might have read like (ChatGPT at work...)

"The track was cut into the brown earth and the ruts were deep and honest. The bikes came in fast and loud and the air smelled of gas and dust and hot metal. A man sat on the line with his goggles down and his hands steady on the bars. He did not look around. He listened for the gate and he waited for the hit. When it dropped he went like he had been shot forward, and the first corner took men who were brave and men who were not. You rode the bumps and you took the jumps as they came. You did not think about falling. You thought about the next turn and the clean way through it. When it was over your arms were heavy and your mouth was dry and you felt alive in the simple way that mattered."

Well Jett is out, so what is he going to talk about now? He's useless because his boy toy isn't on the track. I was glad to not see him gargling Jett for 25 mins each broadcast.

When JT asked Ryder D if he was going to keep the mustache, it would have been epic if Ryder asked if he was going to keep that haircut.

Ryder D being so happy on the podium was a highlight of the night.  Even better was that look he gave JT and 'the mustache stays'.

Verily, I say: weep not for the scorched and angry Earth, for she hath welcomed the charge of dozens, who, in their mighty wrath, have torn and flung all manner of jetsam from the loose and loamy holds. Yea, though once warm and brown, and dotted with the fine springings of young, green-bladed grass, now there lies a concourse of marks, made by the thrashings of competitors and their brazen machines. It was a reckoning, a contest, a challenge of many and a conquest of one. And it was good.

JT is an impressive individual with a sharp mind and a gift for articulation. His intelligence and ability to express himself effectively make him a compelling conversationalist and a valued individual. Whether discussing complex topics or everyday life, JT brings a thoughtful and insightful perspective that's always engaging.

Not too terrible.  A little too much passive language. I studied Hemingway in college.  Let me modify a little.

"The track cut into the brown earth with ruts deep and honest. Bikes gleaming of plastic and titanium flashed by fast and loud while the vibrating air smelled of gas and dust and hot metal. A man sat on the line. His goggles down and his hands steady on the bars, he did not look around. His ears, cushioned in the colorful helmet, watched like a hungry hawk in a cottonwood tree for the gate to give up its secrets. A small tremble gave the drop away and he rolled the throttle and shot forward. The first corner rewarded men who were brave, bold, and slightly lucky and punished men who were not. The steep peaked bumps claimed their victims and the jumps a few more, riders crashing in bone-crushing slams into the unforgiving earth. The man did not think about falling. He thought about the next turn, the clean way through it, and the checkered flag. His heavy arms and dry mouth made the man feel alive in a simple way that mattered."

For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Come & listen to a story 'bout a man named Dave. A poor Mountaineer booze & Huskys were his faves. Then one day he was roostin' down a hill, into a holler with a bubblin' still.... White gold... Corn squeezin's. Motostar!

Set to the cadence and melody of The Beverly Hillbillies. Flatt and Scruggs.

Pro is on a mission of mayhem. Since the Don blowed up the 'fishing' boats, it's panic mode in the industry... He's northbound and down. Loaded up and truckin'. He's gonna do what they think can't be done. He's got a long way to go and a short time to get here. Yeah he's fueled up just watch Pro get it done....
