They are using traditional racing engineering. If it breaks, add material to make it stronger, if it holds up, remove material to make it lighter. LOL

The video where that image is taken from, Varize's mechanic said that he endoed before the clamp broke. That's what it sounds like happens in most cases for the other pinchbolt-style clamp failures. With an impact to the front wheel, the forks act as lever arms and the bottom clamp/ stem bearing is a fulcrum. Pushing the front axle rearward...

I have numerous Wiha tools I use for work and they are top quality. I'd put them in the same ballpark as Snap On tools. The Wiha screwdrivers are the best I've ever used, same with their allen wrenches. I also have a set of Boxo screwdrivers, they are very nice as well.

I can fit basically everything I need to break down a bike in a 3 drawer open top Craftsman. - 1/4 & 3/8 6pt chrome sockets, a few ratchets, extensions and wobble bits. - I like the Neiko brand Hex and torx drivers because they’d good quality, inexpensive, and they come in a case. - Impact driver and 1/4, 3/8 adapters. - Variety of screw drivers (I like wiha) - Sag scale - Most importantly some t-handles - I have some hexpro swivel hex keys I really like -Utility knife -Decent quality pliers and safety wire pliers -Air gauge or...

I would like to hear anyone's opinion on Wiha. It looks like some of the tools are made in Germany, but maybe not all? The finish looks nice but never held one of their tools. I am redoing my track toolbox, and want something solid but not high dollar. I am not into the pre-made kits, leaves no room for...

My wifes 2018 has a Lectron and the $150 RK Tek head insert and the difference is night and day so I would certainly recommend that no matter what generation you get. The head gives it such a smooth transfer of lugging to on the pipe and you can just stay in that sweet spot lugging in apex of corners then scream it on corner exit plus for hills and technical stuff its perfect. This is a super common mod for the XCW 150s and makes a huge difference. I rode a 2024 150 XCW last weekend and the TBI...

I'm probably going to sit down on the couch, where my wife has been watching the "Real Psycho Bitch Housewives of [insert rich city here]" for hours, and get ready for a night of Supercross! We'll have chili and appetizers all dialed up and I'll crack my first beer. Now, I'm not a heavy drinker (nor do I drink quickly,) but I'll probably be done with that beer by the time I realize that none of the dozens of pay-for-access streaming services we pay an exorbitant amount to every month carries the race. Even though they are supposed to. Oh...

Beta X-Trainer all the way for a new female rider. Power is super linear and is a tractor. 15% smaller than the 150XCW. My kid has a 150XCW and it is fun to ride but can be a hand full when you get into the meat of the power. A few of my riding buddy's wives have Trainers. They are fun to ride and fantastic in the woods.

Last ride I was out on I saw several gals on Beta Xtrainers, they looked pretty cool. Slightly smaller frame overall, torquey motor. I know people have been frustrated with TPI bikes, myself included.

forensic Added a reply to Loading bike backwards into truck/van

I have an E250 van and often load one backwards if I am carrying two bikes. The first bike goes in forward on the left side and then the second bike rests its front wheel against the left door. Both bikes take up only half of the van space. For the backwards one, I hook both tie downs up to...

Are you really comparing Ferraci & Factory Ducati MotoGP team to make a point? You're reaching, bud... Ciabatti helped Ducati win MotoGP championships. Ferracci was not in MotoGP (or 500cc GPs then) but in Superbike in early 90s and then in AMA Superbike which are not comparable to today's MotoGP.
