7/19/2025 11:35am As a Tomac fan he has internalized his struggles with Kawasaki even while winning multiple championships with them, and ultimately we hear about his difficulties after his transition to Yamaha. Called a "head case" by the Vital community for years - we don't know what's going on so we start name-calling. Yes, Tomac is the model for accountability, but also for secrecy. If there were a true bike problem he'd never say it. Bike blows up at Redbud - always an electrical issue 🤪. Jorge is a multi-time world champ and bike setup matters. Kawi paid good money for him...

7/19/2025 11:32am Prado has to be a millionaire. He should go buy a stock bike, and have a fire breather engine setup by Twisted or XPR, and buy A-kit or have the suspension done by Graeme Brough or Mark Johnson. That would be maybe $30k. If he can get a better setup than a factory team the team should make some changes. If not, he should look in the mirror.

7/19/2025 11:30am Even when Lewis threw Jorge a softball, complimenting him on his Southwick ride, Jorge made it clear he was overriding the bike to do that because of his strong sand skills. And that pointed comment to the keyboard warriors about "what everbody is saying" - Jorge - we'll they should ride the bike. It is clear that he gives no effs about what being are saying online about his performance. Rather than arrogant I came away with Jorge as confident but frustrated in the bike. Not going to push hard (like his Southwick crash) when he doesn't have the confidence...

7/19/2025 11:28am 3 pages of mostly shitting on the Prado interview, but I thought it was pretty straightforward. I get the feeling that there are things he would like changed, and "Kawasaki" is unwilling to allow it at this point. He and the team may be trying their best, but forces elsewhere in the "Kawasaki" umbrella may be resisting, and Prado is tap-dancing around the politics of his situation a bit. I could be wrong.

7/19/2025 11:28am For Eli I think it's a little bit of everything. First there is the Jett and Hunter effect. If I were him, I could rationalize what Jett is doing to me and everyone else. If I'm not feeling like peak me and the bike isn't close to perfect, I can say to myself I'm getting beat by a dude who may be the best damn motocrosser to ever swing a leg over the seat. But I should be whipping everyone else, and his doggone brother is not only showing me his ass he is the one giving Jett a run...

7/19/2025 11:26am I didn't known Prado did his own engine work...? 🙄 Phil is still looking for more power in Canada. He can send it to anyone he want but still with 3 races left they haven't solved it. From what is being told Prado have told them what power is needed and they can't deliver, yet. Setting up chassi and suspension we all know is dependent on power of bike. Change the map and your suspension can be shit because engine braking changes and power to the ground is different. Tomac has been what, 3 seasons on the bike and still...

7/19/2025 11:25am Damn lewis throwing bombs at prado 😀. It was entertaining though. 😆🙌 I can see prado back in the mxgp next year , you can tell he’s regretting the move to the US. My 2 cents.

7/19/2025 11:24am No he certainly doesn't. Jorge is a good person but he's just too arrogant for his own good when it comes to his thoughts on himself and his racing. When he does well it's him. When he doesn't its the bike. That wears thin on these teams. Unless something changes really quick and he shuts the hell up he will find himself having a more difficult time getting a 3rd manufacture to give him a top tier deal. Especially with the level of people at Kawasaki that he's disrespecting and his knocking the KTM group on his way out. But...

7/19/2025 11:22am Lewis might be the only true journalist in the sport at the moment. He’s not a jerk, but asks the uncomfortable questions we all have and nobody else has the balls to ask. At this point, I only watch Lewis’s pre and/or post race interviews anymore. Great work!

7/19/2025 11:21am I've said this before just as an example, shorty wasn't allowed to drop the forks in the clamp, he talked about this himself. Wasn't safe according to Japan even though he rode with it during practice and was seconds faster. Ridiculous but nothing suprise me when it comes to what a factory team can and cannot do. Also Phil is still looking for more power and season is almost over. He can send it to whoever to try and fix that but apparently still an issue so probably not an easy fix.

7/19/2025 11:20am It’s a common theme over the years, international riders tend to speak with a directness that is often misinterpreted in the US.
