World Vet happens at Glen Helen every year and rarely do any of them show up. Age specific PRO classes just for them on a badass track and not some rut fest on flat ground. Would be cool as hell if they’d all just commit to World Vet like they do Loretta’s.

As others have said, Zach has always had a unique style! Scrunched/hunched over, etc, not as stylish or flashy as others... But he has what most others do not.... that dawg in him. The deep burn to make it happen when others can not. And few things look more stylish hanging on the wall than a AMA 450 Outdoor championship trophy! Pairing that with a MXGP round win trophy is rare air too.

There is a world wide problem for riders that has been pro’s and now just want to race for fun. If you have been fast once upon a time, there is a good chance that 90% of your max speed will stay with you for MANY years. Even 10 years after i stopped racing as a pro I could not line up and race a VET or Vintage class without complaints from others that i did not belong there. But where should I ride if I have not trained or raced seriously for 10 years?. The pro classes was not...

Im fine to see X- pros racing in selected classes. Its great for the sport. Kids in these classes can see where they stack up. The fans love it and it is a good throw back to the sport. Coming back to where it all started. If certain families or riders complain, well, the pro ranks are much harder. Just need to be faster. A few years back I was able to play hockey against a team of retired NHL players. Pretty humbling. They played with half the energy as the guys on my team but had such a great...

benny just went 10-10. Oldenburg deserves some criticism but he's improving. i'd say beta is performing right about where you'd expect at the back end of the factory/ high end of the privateer teams.

Zacho got the itch again. He missed racing. I’d like to see him at the nationals

He said it multiple times during the moto 60 show this summer and to be fair, with Cairolis results and the shallow depth in the current 450 class, I think that he could do OK. I have always loved Zach’s view on racing. When he lived in Norway with Gundersen they showed up and raced a local race here in Sweden on an off weekend and not to talk about his ISDE racing and always raising his hand for MxDN. I’ve got a soft spot for those types of riders that will race anything just for the love of riding...

JH might been the best he is ever been right now. 2018 was outstanding and full send mode. But the package with Honda is so good right now. Starts never been this good. Speed and fitness is still outstanding and knowing to back down when needed is something he learned the hard way. The wave he is on right now is a match in heaven for him and HRC.

I think he raised his level this year to go against Lucas, because now that Lucas is out you can see how far ahead of the field Herlings is.

He really doesn’t have much to prove Not really the biggest fan of this statement. Same way people talk about Tomac recently. They don't ride for us fans or just to prove something. They ride and compete because it's part of their life, they don't know anything else, they do it since being a little kid. They love being competitive, they love winning and racing, it's part of their identity. Guys like RV/RD openly said that they felt like they retired too early. Same when people say: "retire and enjoy life". What if they enjoy life the most when competing...

He's in by far his best form since 2021. He is actually is super consistent, gets the best starts he ever had on the Honda, looks less sketchy in general. If it weren't for his DNFs or Lucas, we would talk about how this is the best Herlings we have seen since 2018. With Lucas gone next year there is nobody who has anything for him in a championship barring injury. I don't see him quitting in the next 2-3 years. He could still win 1 or 2 titles after this year. If he somehow retires I'd be very surprised...

I feel like we are getting to a point where we're trying to get the engine and chassis work in unison where I gotta wonder if they're trying to optimally align crankshaft vs output shaft to have a certain affect on the chassis under load etc etc. With todays technology can we drastically alter bore / stroke and make power...

I could write a novel on this stuff, but in the interest of time, here are some high level points to answer your questions: Is triple clamps flex a major part of a bikes handling? It can be significant. We make clamps as stiff as possible in all directions except front to back. That makes them handle precisely and keeps the fork tubes better aligned for less binding, which ironically makes it more comfortable despite the clamps being stiffer. The stiffness front to back is tuned for comfort and can make a big difference in feel on the track. Some...

Thank you Luxon for stepping up posting great information in this post. I too agree with you on the AI part. Use your brain. Here is a question for you when it comes to flex. Is triple clamps flex a major part of a bikes handling? Some people have been complaining about a bikes suspension and handling being bad. Can adding more triple clamp flex give them what magic cure they are looking for? Another part is Fork tube fles could be a major part of this too. Frames also use the motors for part of the frames bracing and...

. The only way you will notice a worn out frame is if you can push it hard enough to flex or distort it in the first place. The fast guys however push frames to their limits and can absolutely feel them wearing out. They will start to twist more in turns causing them to track differently and they will give to much feedback hitting hard bumps. The frames soften so they give off energy differently, more harshly.

Once a bike gets a couple years old the frames are genuinely dangerous and should be replaced with a new bike. At least that is what wives across the nation are told.

I still think the rmz really needs estart, but that’s basically it no? The rmz makes a very compelling case for the rest of the OEM’s to slow redesigns and keep current models for longer by a decent amount. If it takes a season or two to really dial in a specific bike it makes a lot of sense to be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor vs being slapped in the face with a new bike/massive project at the end of season 3 imo.
